Darnold or Rosen?

Darnold or Rosen?

  1. 1. If Mayfield does go at 1 and the Giants take Barkley (or Chubb), who would you take at 3? (Sorry Allen fans.)

Rosen is gonna win on this message board. I’ve been against Darnold over Rosen and Mayfield since the season ended. I thought that based on performance that this was obvious but with Darnold still being regarded so highly I have to wonder if I’m missing something.

Rosen.  Give me the guy with processing speed and enough physical tools over the guy with higher end tools but a worse mental makeup

Bingo.

I'll be happy as long as we don't take Allen. God, I am so scared that we'll take him.

I probably should have put him in there even if I don't think he'll get picked until the Broncos, at the earliest.

Thing is you NEVER know. I've seen some pretty weird crap in my 30 something years of following the draft. You use to be able to count on the Cards to grab a projected 3rd or 4th rounder in the 1st. Good times. lol

On the field, It's Rosen all the way. He's been my favorite QB in this class for about a year now. But I voted Darnold over Rosen because of durability.

That IS a huge concern especially with our O line.

I really ain’t about to say anything about our o-line Till we see them play.

i will say this...with quick timing based plays in the WCO and Rosen naturally being a quick decision maker..I really don’t see the huge concern.

The system will already call for him to get the ball out lightening quick.

They all get hit eventually, though. All of them. He's gonna have to hold up to NFL hits.

Carson Wentz had no injury problems. Luck has no problems. Watson had no problems.

it happens. I’m not letting the past scare me from a QB with a top 5-10 QB Ceiling

Yeah, I here ya. But it's all probability. Some guys get hurt more than others. Durability is definitely a thing. Anyone could get hurt at any time. No doubt. But a guy with an established history of getting hurt is probably more likely to get hurt in the future than someone who doesn't have such a history.

Also, this was Watson's second ACL surgery.
