Dallas Goedert

Best TE in this class if you ask me. Hands down.

I wouldn’t be against it, but ultimately, I still say stand pat and take the best available OL.

#1 priority from here on out has to be protecting Darnold.

P.S.

Can’t even believe that I just said that. Darnold is a Jet. Jesus Christ monkey balls. What a dream come true.

The beauty of the zone blocking scheme is that the “smaller” guys tend to drop in drafts, so tremendous value can be found in later rounds.  Sean Welsh, Ike Boettger, Scott Quessenberry...

That being the case, and knowing one of Darkold’s “things” is escapability...If there’s an amazing safety-blanket type TE in round 3/4, I say pull the trigger. Gift the kid wonder with some red zone juice.  Dallas Goedert is a one-hand catching freak, and Geisiki is Jimmy Graham lite (before surgery). If either are there, don’t let Bucky Hodges be the reason we pass!

I think Mac doesn’t need to do anything. He keeps getting players fall into his laps almost every year. And it’s kinda nice to have a GM that isn’t afraid to go BPA mostly, although Darnold was supposedly just the best QB out of all the QBs and not necessarily a true BPA. Alvin Kamara kinda stings though as it’s my understanding we didn’t pull the trigger on a rumored move up for him.

Here's another guy who I'm hoping we can get (from NFL.com that called him "most under-rated" for OL) :

Tony Adams, OG, N.C. State: Adams can run outside and inside zone plays in his sleep thanks to his efficient movements, plus body control and consistent footwork. He was a tennis player as a youth, which is one of the reasons for his impressive feet, and his father was a wrestling coach, which plays into his understanding of leverage. Adams is undersized, which will hurt his draft slotting, but he's a good football player with consistent tape and should become a NFL starter He could turn out to be a Day 3 steal.
