NFL | Famed sports surgeon suffers heart attack

Mark Curnutte, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports famed sport's surgeon Dr. James Andrews suffered a heart attack Sunday, Jan. 8. He was scheduled to perform surgery on Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer (knee), but obviously he did not.

I read about this on deadspin.com

supposed to be one of the top shoulder guys in the country and responsible for extending a lot of guys careers and did the "tommy john surgery" better than anyone in the world (or did he invent the surgery? no idea).

I wonder if he was the guy Chad flew out to see?

Dr. Frank Jobe invented the Tommy John surgery.
