Patriot Killa
Could this be a target for the #Jets? Veteran presence while need some depth at DE. Jets did the same thing last year with Kony Ealy. #NYJ https://t.co/MjEUkCo88T — Dominick Arbolino (@darbs5258) May 4, 2018 .@Seahawks release DE Cliff Avril: https://t.co/QdV3lIa3WX pic.twitter.com/Bq2sihDzzS — NFL (@NFL) May 4, 2018

Beerfish
had a bad neck injury, probably career done,. doubt if the jets would take a chance but he is the type of player we need.

Untouchable
Last I heard he was seriously considering retiring. No thanks Roll with Jenkins on one side and a platoon of Bass/Mauldin/Martin/Donahue at the other. Then get a legit edgerusher next offseason. Bass is ok depth, Mauldin didn’t show much at all while he was healthy, Martin is primarily a special teamer and Donahue is in rehab. We absolutely need help at edge rusher. We absolutely need help at edge rusher. Sure, but not from a 32 year old Cliff Avril who has been talking retirement for the last 4 months and has zero experience as a stand up OLB to my knowledge. Roll with the young guys on the roster and target an EDGE and OL help next offseason. Those should be the top priorities along with re-signing Leo and upgrading the receiving corps. Gas2No99
Cliff Avril - DL - Free Agent Ex-Seahawks DE Cliff Avril is becoming a morning radio host in Seattle. Avril is joining 950 KJR and will be on the air from 10AM-1PM weekdays. It's unclear if this means Avril is formally retiring — there has been no official announcement — but coupled with his Friday release from the Seahawks, it's a good indication his playing days are officially over. Avril can't get cleared from his neck injury. He turned 32 last month. Source: Art Thiel on Twitter May 7 - 2:15 PM
