While you were sleeping, two of the biggest free agents went off the board — QB Case Keenum to the Broncos and WR Allen Robinson to the Bears, per reports. This means the Kirk Cousins race is down to the Jets, Vikings and Cards, with the Vikings remaining the favorite. The Jets didn't appear to have a strong interest in Robinson, who will sign for a reported $42 million over three years. A nice weapon for Mitch Trubisky.

The end result of QB Kirk Cousins' deft handling of his eventual free agency: In the five-year period between 2016-20, he will have earned at least $127,896,600. All guaranteed. And then he'll be a free agent again before the 2021 season.

As far as I understand it you don't have to spend all of your cap money in one year. You have something like 4 years to spend (approx) 85% of it. So we can keep some of this money for a rainy day, during the season or next year. But there's still work to do on the O-line etc and that could be via the draft.
