The Jets have concluded a visit with Bills free-agent CB E.J. Gaines, the team announced. Their interest in Gaines sparks two thoughts: It signals that Buster Skrine ($8.5M cap) could be in trouble. Gaines isn't a great position /scheme fit. He comes from a zone-based system and hasn't played the slot since 2014, his rookie year with the Rams. He's also visiting the Browns.

The Robbie Anderson events hurts this situation. It's pretty evident at this point that Robbie Anderson is as dumb as a brick. His stupidity is going to effect his availability for the NYJ on Sundays. The front office must be weighing their options on Anderson and trying to decide if he's worth hanging on to? I would cut him and move on........

You would but they won't. Robbies much too talented on a team that has few talented players.

Trying to build their offensive-line depth, the Jets re-signed backup C Jonotthan Harrison. He'll play behind free-agent addition Spencer Long, who replaces Wes Johnson (free agent). They still lack depth at guard. The offensive line is an area they probably will address in the latter rounds of the draft.
