If Pryor can stay healthy and keep his head on straight, he is a force. There aren't many 6'4", 230lb WRs capable of running a sub 4, 40.

Agree. Those long striders have sneaky speed. They don't always look like they are flying until you see the shorter guys falling behind

Yep.  I really hope what happened in Washington last year was just a bad fit scenario and it works out here because you cant teach that speed and length.  Between; 6'4 Anderson, 6'4 Pryor and 6'2 Enunwa all running sub 4, 40 speed...that's pretty freaking dangerous, especially if Sterling and Herndon keep getting better.  With the right signal caller, that should be plenty to work with.

Love reading that Jones is coming along.  Mac really needs to hit on some of those late round picks to make up for all the early round misses.

Dude is super athletic and long too.  Played on a really good Ole Miss D and a little WR at times too.  Kid's an athlete, would be great to see him on game day.

Not to mention Crowell/Powell and Cannon. We may not have a Zeke/Leveon or Odell/AB but we do have plenty of good young talent at the skill positions.

Yup.  Would be huge if we hit on him.  Especially with Claiborne's injury history, depth at CB is a concern.  If Jones can play -- then we can leave Skrine in the slot if Claiborne goes down.  Would be a pleasant surprise if he can is legit.

mac hasn't had many early round misses.  all of his first round picks are not busts.  maye is not a bust.  we're really talking about hack and devin smith as the two early picks that haven't panned out.

Seems like the Jets beat guys are tweeting less than usual today.  Did they think it was an afternoon practice today too?

Actually they didn't tweet all that much last week either.  It was Glenn that was giving us an excellent play by play

Tweets

  1.

TE Jordan Leggett (leg) is participating in 7-on-7 drills and just made a beautiful/tough diving catch. An encouraging sign.

Nice play by #Jets TE Jordan Leggett, who dove to catch a Teddy Bridgewater ball in 7-on-7. #JetsCamp x SkinsCamp

Not a great showing here for #Jets rushers. Fatukasi and Cooper only to win their battles

Only 3rd round pick he has hit on so far is Jordan Jenkins.  Mauldin looks like a bust and may not make the team.  Same can be said for Stewart, although I can't call a guy a bust after one season, but his roster spot certainly looks to be in jeopardy.  Small sample size, but he has to be better than 2/6 on day 2 of the draft.

In fairness though, there appears to be reason for optimism around Shepherd.

Sub 4 40's? That would be the Flash

People want to take the best OT next year's draft, but a pass rusher is a pretty realistic option too. I can see them thinking that's the one piece they're missing to making the defense one of the best.

mccagnan is more likely to invest in a pass rusher in the first than an OT, though it remains to be seen how badly darnold gets beaten up over the course of the season with the LTs they have.
