It’s been a busy month for Sir Paul McCartney. After announcing a new tour for 2019, the rock legend traveled to New York City to continue the promotion of his highly anticipated sixth studio album Egypt Station -- surprising fans with the news of a secret show in the city on Friday (Sept. 7).

The singer took to social media on Wednesday (Sept. 5) to announce the surprise concert for some lucky New Yorkers on the same day of the album release date (Sept. 7).  Along with the exciting news, he shared his own customized Egypt StationMetroCards.

“Two days to go… See you at #EGYPTSTATION this Friday evening....#NewYork #FridayNight #DontMissTheTrain” the caption reads.

Though the location of the show is still unknown, McCartney shared that the concert will be live streamed through his official Youtube Channel at 8PM EST on Friday (Sept. 7) and according to an statement on his official website, he will be performing “Beatles, Wings and solo classics” along with tracks from the new album.

The official Paul McCartney MetroCards can be purchased on NYC’s Grand Central Station and are available at larger vending machines and station booths while supplies last. Also partnering with Lyft, the code "PAULNYC" can be used for a chance to score a ticket to Friday’s secret show.

Ahead of the album release and secret show, McCartney will be performing as the musical guest on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show on Thursday (Sept. 6) NBC.

Todd Bowles will be wearing one of the Jets' new uniforms on Kimmel this evening. Here's a sneak peek:

In all seriousness, that actually sounds like a great show to see if you're lucky enough to get in. I'm not super familiar with McCartney's more recent solo stuff but Memory Almost Full comes to mind as being a good album.
