As are 2/3rds of all other Gm's. We all complain about Jet draft picks because its our team. Take a real deep look at the other team's drafts and tell me there are GM's who get it right all the time.

Peake did make the team based on his special teams contribution, but I don't think the Jets will cut bait yet on last year's third round selection. We will see.

Special teams, it is important. The thing is, the receivers they have seem to have a unique ability to not be special teams guys. That's why Peake is here.

I have been on this guy for the drafts as much as the next guy, but what difference does this make?  If he hangs on to Stewart and lets him suck out the rest of his rookie deal, Justin Burris-style, does that somehow make him better GM?

No you’re right, Stewart needed to be cut. Better to admit the mistake and move on. I didn’t even think he would make the final TC cut. I’m just pissed and frustrated thinking about these draft picks we keep wasting on outright busts. Neither Hansen nor Stewart are even on the team 17 months after we drafted them? Geeeeeez...

wait until Leggett is cut.  I thought Stewart was a better player than Leggett.

Think about all the trading down Mac did in that draft to get more picks.

what a deflective reaction.  No one is asking for "all the time".  Mac is one of the worst.  His drafts are abysmal.  I don't give a rats ass about any other team's GM anyway.  Its as plain as day just how bad Macs drafts are.  don't even attempt to defend his drafts.

You’re correct. The only way a sixth receiver makes the team is by special teams. It was a tough call because Stewart was a third round pick in 2017, I didn’t think they would cut bait yet. Now I wonder if he clears waivers if they bring him back on the practice squad.
