We will see. Special teams, it is important. The thing is, the receivers they have seem to have a unique ability to not be special teams guys. That's why Peake is here. If he hangs on to Stewart and lets him suck out the rest of his rookie deal, Justin Burris-style, does that somehow make him better GM? No you’re right, Stewart needed to be cut. Better to admit the mistake and move on. I didn’t even think he would make the final TC cut. I’m just pissed and frustrated thinking about these draft picks we keep wasting on outright busts. Neither Hansen nor Stewart are even on the team 17 months after we drafted them? Geeeeeez...

I thought Stewart was a better player than Leggett. Think about all the trading down Mac did in that draft to get more picks.

His drafts are abysmal. I don't give a rats ass about any other team's GM anyway. Its as plain as day just how bad Macs drafts are. don't even attempt to defend his drafts. Vikings handed over their third round pick (which the Jets used on Stewart) and their fifth round pick (which the Jets on-traded to Cleveland) to trade up to pick 70 in order to select Elflein. The only way a sixth receiver makes the team is by special teams. It was a tough call because Stewart was a third round pick in 2017, I didn’t think they would cut bait yet. Now I wonder if he clears waivers if they bring him back on the practice squad.
