You throw an interception, you run the other way. Got it? Darnold said he banged his right elbow while making a tackle on his interception. He said it’s “nothing crazy” and said it didn’t affect him at all in practice. Maybe being a Gator homer here but he's not that big of a drop off from Long and he can consistently snap the ball accurately. He's played a lot of Football in this league and they resigned him for a reason. If you center has a hand swelling up which is negating half a dozen plays a game and you have a servicable small drop off back up, why not give him a rest?
