Josh McCown was starting. They were playing the Bills, for crying out loud. You can tell the writers are not Jet fans. We were starting a career backup loser QB but we had this one in the bag. We had Mr. Prepared coaching our team. The late news that Barkley was starting obviously flummoxed our brainy defense. If ever a game was designed for embarassment, this one was. Rangers9 Posted November 11, 2018 Share Posted November 11, 2018 From the first offensive play of the day, a long pass the Bills played like a team who didn't care about losing or looking bad they just wanted to win. They took chances all day and the Jets didn't react. I'm not surprised Barkley played well I always thought he was a talented player. Again out coached and players out hit their guys made plays and ours didn't. They were quicker and broke tackles and our guys didn't. McCown played somewhat better in 2nd half but looked like a 38 year old guy. The CS couldn't motivate these guys and that's the bottom line. Teams do get blown out even good teams sometimes.
