Pure nonsense.  No coach doesnt stress presnap penalties.  Theyre on the player, not the coach.  No matter how hard fans want to blame coaching.  What are you going to do, bench your starting guards and center after 5 FS penalties?  Really?  Aint happening.  They were dogged over penalties all preseason.  They have been bad at times.  Not Pitt Steeler bad, but have had issues.  Fans overreact to penalties.  You mentioned penalties after a 1 penalty game.

He deserves to lose his job and he will soon enough, we dont more ammo

okay, i understand all coaches emphacise penalties in practice but it shows that the players aren't listening very well and it's the coaches responsibility to get the players to listen and understand.  to paraphrase, what we have here is a failure to communicate.  as you say we don't need more ammo to determine if bowles should continue to be the coach but chastising him for penalties isn't piling on, it's pointing out the obvious.

But, with the exception of 2017, Bowles teams have consistently had less penalties/penalty yards than league average:

2015: 28th in penalties and 29th in penalty yards

2016: 28th in penalties; 26th in penalty yards

2017: 5th in penalties and yards

2018: 19th in penalties; 25th in yards.  Although we are 8th in pre-snap penalties with 13.

OK, so we're back to its the players.  Unless your point is they emphasised penalties in practice and the players not listening is on the coaches.  I mean, they didnt MAKE them listen.  LOL, so simplistic and such a ridiculous way to blame coaches.  Especially when penalties have mostly been better than most under this staff.  Lets face it, they had one game with a crazy number of presnap penalties and wouldnt you know, they went with a mediocre at best, backup scrub center.  The guy responsible for the line calls along with the new center who is battling other issues.  But hey, its more fun to pile it on the coaches.  Even when every other alternative, when every retired player has said it makes no sense.

I'm looking forward to a successful offseason.

Even more successful than last year's offseason, which secured us a playoff spot?

We are making the playoffs next year with Cousins, a rookie QB, or McCown.  Take it to the bank.

it's all about coaching and motivating players.  some players need no motivation.  Lt didn't need any motivation and there was little coaching needed on the part of parcells to get him to play hard.  but at the same time parcells was able to deflect any indication that Lt was getting special treatment. special treatment can become very disruptive to a team.  so yes, it's still mainly on the coaches.  penalties may not be the best indication that bowles has not done a good job but it does show he hasn't gotten through to these guys as much as he should have.

and , at the end of the day, it's easier to launch a head coach than it is to launch 53 players.
