Little steep for a 32 year old coming off an injury but it is only 1 year.  He did look good when he came back.  Win-Win for the player and the team.  He gets to prove himself and Atlanta doesn't get an albatross of a contract if he doesn't.

That's what you should give older players.    A 1-2 year deal.   I think GMs are finally learning, with out the PEDs players who are 30-32 years old should not get 6 and 7 year contracts.

Everyone screamed collusion last year, but look at what Darvish gave the Cubs, and how much they will owe him for another 5 years.   Look at the Robby Cano contract in Seattle.   Ellsbury making 20+ million to not even see the field.   Crap, that guy will make 47 million (with his buyout) for the next 2 years and not even play the field.
