Give me Bell, Tate and Humphries for skill positions.

Saffold (G), Paradis (C) to take this offensive line up a notch.

2 of Barrett, Aaron Lynch and Preston Smith as Edge rushers (Realistic Options). The big pass rushers will get tagged and Fowler is way overrated.

Allen Bailey as a 3/4 DE to replace the hopefully traded Leo.

Hankins and Shelton to play DT since McClendon is a FA and getting old.

Fixing the line and adding Bell, Tate and Humphries to Anderson, Herndon and probably Enunwa would give Darnold a great supporting cast on offense.

Adding some edge rushers and some interior line should help the defense a lot as well.

if you’re gonna pay big money for bell then humphries and tate are kind of pointless since they all play similar roles in the passing game. better off getting some speed on the outside in that case IMO

Tate is still a burner. Put him and Anderson on the outside and it opens up so much underneath for Bell, Herndon, Humphries and Enunwa. You can never have too many weapons for a young QB. And hopefully they spend an early pick on a potential #1 WR.

is he really though? he’s going to be 31 next season and he pretty much only plays in the slot. don’t get me wrong I think he’s a great player but if we’re hypothetically keeping enunwa and signing bell here they all kind of fill similar roles in the passing game

I guess, maybe someone like Tyrell Williams would be a better fit

I want:

offense:

Leveon Bell

Matt Paradis

Trent Brown

Golden Tate (or Cole Beasley)

Jeff Heurman

Resign Enunwa

Defense:

Jadeveon Clowney

Dante Fowler (only if Clowney is franchised)

Bradley Roby

Sheldon Richardson

Pierre Desir

Demarcus Lawrence is getting tagged.

Just to be clear, there is a thing called a salary cap.

They have $106 million in cap space and if they trade Leo they will have $120 million in cap space. That's more than enough money to sign every guy I mentioned. There are only 3 guys on that list that would command top of the market money for their position, Bell, Saffold & Paradis and I can live with that. Plus, the cap is real easy to manipulate especially when it goes up by $10 million each year.  After the way Darnold is finishing this season the FO needs to go all in this off-season. And if they bring in a guy like Harbaugh he's not waiting another season to push all of his chips in. This off-season needs to set up the next 4 years for this team while they have Darnold on the cheap.

This is NOT directed at you but some fans need to take the tampons out of their hoohahs and realize that it doesn't take 3 years to build a winner in the NFL when you have a franchise QB. One off-season can make your team a perennial playoff team and SB contender for a long time. Ask Rams fans who were in a similar situation 2 years ago. It can happen. Start dreaming big!

Its not that.....we talk about how much money we have.  We only have 29 players signed for next year.  We have to sign 24 players just to have a roster.  That 100 million isn't going to go as far as people think.

We aren't getting enough for Leo that warrants trading him, BTW.....

Nobody thought we'd get a 2nd for Sheldon. A 4th round pick or better warrants moving him and getting his $14 million off the books.  Especially if they don't plan on extending him. That money can be added to get 4 or 5 role players that can give them the same  level of production that he's given the Jets this year which is average. They can also use it to pay Henry Anderson bc he's the one who deserves a contract and he'll probably cost half of that.

Next year's roster is so misunderstood. There are 29 players under contract. Then, there are 9 players that are ERFA or RFA. That roster number jumps to 38. Then we have 6 draft picks. Without any trades during the draft to either get more picks or lose picks by moving up i would say conservatively that 5 of them would be on the 53.  That's 43 players. Now we're only looking at 10 empty spots on the 53. 5 or 6 of those guys would be starters and then the rest would be guys like Neville Hewitt or Andre Roberts. Role players. One thing Macc did well this off-season was bring better depth to the team. That's why you've seen a jump in the special teams play. That's not a coincidence. That's a very important part of roster building especially when you have a ton of money. Hewitt, Roberts, Copeland and Anderson cost them $4.5 million this year combined and they're going to let Leo collect $14 million? That would be absurd. All of those guys above have contributed quite a bit whether it was on special teams or defense. That's how you build depth on a team.

I want:

offense:
Leveon Bell
Matt Paradis
Trent Brown
Golden Tate (or Cole Beasley)
Jeff Heurman
Resign Enunwa

Defense:
Jadeveon Clowney
Dante Fowler (only if Clowney is franchised)
Bradley Roby
Sheldon Richardson
Pierre Desir

Demarcus Lawrence is getting tagged.
Why Sheldon Richardson? He was a cancer here and non productive everywhere
