It was obvious Bowles was done and leaving him in place could have had the direct opposite effect over letting him go and using an interim who would have a natural cover of being an interim...all said and done, when Bowles is fired is likely be have small actual influence on the next coach who's going to be more interested in who he reports to aka Mac and how stable Mac's tenure with the team is because if Mac gets fired after another season of signing Trumaine Johnsons...the coach is likely gone of going to have a GM who's itching to replace him.
