Gainzo
Great thread to start. My concert experiences are all over the map. Simon & Garfunkel(Sp?) (early '80's when I was a kid) KISS (1996 "back with makeup tour" F'n awesome show) Midnight Oil (at a small club in Boston, excellent) Warrant, Quiet Riot & Poison (Great show. sh*t, Warrant kicked ass and I didn't even like them) Aerosmith (Steven Tyler is great live) The Proclaimers (The "I would walk 500 miles" guys) Kids in the Kitchen (Aussie band) Pseudo Echo (Aussie Band) Motley Crue (Tommy Lee's drum kit came over the crowd) Scorpians (In driving rain in Maine!) Plus a bunch of local bands in Boston clubs.

You may be the only one on this board that knows about those two fantastic songs. How the **** did you hear those classic 80's tunes? I'm betting vandoug might know if he is over the age of 30. I could probably find it up in the attic if I was so inclined. However, I'm not. I spent a couple of summers in Germany during my teen years, so I was exposed to alot of cool music unknown in the states. BTW, INXS has one of my all-time favorite songs. It wasn't too popular here, IIRC. Don't Change is awesome.

Thor99
Crowded House came out of Split Enz.....The Finn Brothers. They were Kiwis and had many great songs. Flash Back (Split Enz song): History never repeats, I tell myself before I go to sleep............... I'm not sure what other songs made it over to the USA. I know about Split Enz. I Got You, Message To My Girl, One Step Ahead. I think I remember reading about the bassist from Crowded House dying last year. You have some great music from OZ. Midnight Oil (before they went insane), Nick Cave, The Church (Starfish is one of the best things ever recorded), Hoodoo Gurus... the list goes on and on. You can keep the DiVinyls, though.
