You nailed it Doug (wife actually). I'm sure I left a few off the list because I probably saw them in an altered state and can't remember that I went.

It's strange how things seem to be different when you're living in a dream.

Oh, and Funkytown.

You know what Thor? You may be the only one on this board that knows about those two fantastic songs. How the **** did you hear those classic 80's tunes?

I'm betting vandoug might know if he is over the age of 30. We all know the Canadian's love everything Aussie!

Dude, I had the tape. I could probably find it up in the attic if I was so inclined. However, I'm not.

I spent a couple of summers in Germany during my teen years, so I was exposed to alot of cool music unknown in the states.

BTW, INXS has one of my all-time favorite songs. It wasn't too popular here, IIRC. Don't Change is awesome.

Crowded House came out of Split Enz.....The Finn Brothers. They were Kiwis and had many great songs.

Flash Back (Split Enz song): History never repeats, I tell myself before I go to sleep...............

I'm not sure what other songs made it over to the USA.

I know about Split Enz. I Got You, Message To My Girl, One Step Ahead.

I think I remember reading about the bassist from Crowded House dying last year.

You have some great music from OZ. Midnight Oil (before they went insane), Nick Cave, The Church (Starfish is one of the best things ever recorded), Hoodoo Gurus... the list goes on and on.

You can keep the DiVinyls, though.

A nice pint of VB and the women from Oz are certainly high on my list.

Way over 30, but during the 80's was immersed in various stuff and kinda missed mainstream music of the time.
