They’re definitely isn’t a conspiracy to make him look better than he was. They thought I was nostrodomus and thanked me for my wisdom and for reassuring them that the game was clearly not over. At 16-0 a couple left? I was thinking, you obviously haven't witnessed the brilliancy of Todd Bowles & Kacey Rogers giving up lead after lead. This is my final critique of anything Todd Bowles, I'm just thankful he's finally gone, but wow, it's amazing how history gets rewritten by these media A holes. Bowles probably has a good reputation because he is a good person, straight with people, honest, loyal, etc... I don't know the man, but those are usually traits of someone with a good reputation also agree that Tampa will probably be a dumpster fire, Arians already anointed the starting QB and we have seen how well that works and Bowles defense did not succeed in Philly and it took time in Arizona, so he is not beyond question, brilliant is not a word I would use either... However It does take brilliance to become paid so richly that you become one of the 1% in the USA while at the same time totally sucking at what you are getting paid so lucratively to do. Rex failed as a HC but it doesn't impact how he's perceived as a DC. When Josh McDaniels flamed out in Denver it didn't mean he sucked as an OC too. Also the two games that Rodgers had his illness, Bowles took over as defensive coordinator and the defense played well and we won. He let Rodgers run the defense and was too loyal to him. How Todd Bowles' defenses play in Tampa means nothing to me, except for when we play them. I wish him luck there. And if he can re-establish himself as a solid DC, more power to him. Not everyone is cut out to be a HC. No shame in being a good coordinator but a bad HC. He would not be the only guy meeting that description. We fired him, he has moved on. And so have I. I don’t know enough about Vance Joseph in Denver but that’s not a good QB situation and that team lost to the Jets. Byron Leftwich is getting elevated and will be OC in Tampa. Bieniemy is in his first year as a coordinator in KC. Guys are getting elevated. Owners want to win. I think good coaches get good opportunities, winners stay in place and losers lose jobs. As I mentioned before, other than one head to head game the Jets basically beat themselves in the other 4 loses.(Why they beat themselves could be directly related to said topic) You know what bothers me the most about Gase?
