Pac
Shaping up to be a no nonsense, no excuses, take no bullsh-t staff. Williams and Boyer are showing that Gase isn't going to let sentimentality rule his decisions. He wants good coaches. The free ride for under performing players is coming to an end. The Walrus
Good decision. He's improved IMO each year, still in his 40s and goes with the harder edge we need in the culture.
joenamathwouldn'tcry
More evidence that we're finally getting it right. Maybe Woody should stay in the U.K. Well deserved extension. Nice surprise on this otherwise dismal Sunday afternoon. Williams next?

Bleedin Green
Certainly well deserved. Here's hoping the rest of the coaches give us every reason to feel the same way soon enough. Will be interesting to see if they opt to retain any of the position coaches.

bostonmajet
Good move - glad they did that. I agree on Greene; I would also like to see the WR coach extended as well, but not as important as Boyer and Greene It is about time that club Jets was closed for good. I read somewhere that the pushback from some of the players on Gase was that he was a hard-ass - some players here won't like it, but good riddance to them. Time to earn their pay. Bocajetfan
With special teams rule changes he showed an ability too adapt something no other coach on the Bowles staff showed an ability too do. Also got the players to buy into his philosophy and execute.

You don’t typically hear much about a WR coach but I have heard that he’s a good coach.

I totally agree. Actually Bowles scheming at least kept the Jets draft pick way up high. If Boyer coached the last half of the year there would have definitely been more wins, Houston and Green Bay for sure. With Bowles coaching all the losses were practically guaranteed.
