Why is no one allowed to talk about Edelman using PEDs?

Recommended Posts

The punishment should include a uniform change to PEDelman

Anyone who considers a single Patriots victory under Belichick to be legitimate is a person of low moral character and should not be trusted nor welcome in society. It’s Fall of Man/Decline of Civilizations sh*t that any of the principals are still allowed in the league at this point. A grievous shame.

I know today Edelman is the darling of America but this weasel just served a 4-game suspension for PEDs (which of course Goodell won’t disclose what the PEDs were cough cough steroids)

i mean this is the same fan base that used to obsess over Alex Rodriguez being a roider to the point they sold Arod steroid needle t-shirts at games

You don't even know what the PEDs  are or if there even were any. All players use something. And steroids are probably  incredibly  out dated  and obsolete. There's probably a good number of none threatening  alternatives they've perfected.

4 games,  5he go to super bowl. Brady, 4 games, they go to SB.

Odds are, Kraft incident  means another SB.

Are players dying at 45 in record numbers? No. So this steroids  are bad thing is either a lie or incredibly  exaggerated.

The point I was driving was more that it makes it easier to have one's body reach a desired level; after that point is reached and one is in maintenance mode rather than growth mode, steroids or other PEDs maybe are no longer necessary (certainly they're less necessary, while uninjured). But that maintenance-only level wouldn't have been reached without having used them in the first place. One doesn't return to rookie Tom Brady body immediately upon cessation of whatever enhancers were used in the first place.

I take for granted all NFL players are in the gym; we're talking about those guys not someone theoretically juicing and lazing on a couch all day (or bulking up on whatever enhancer - steroids or otherwise - and then doing nothing thereafter).

How Dare youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu !

Edelman just served a 4 game suspension for testing positive for PEDs.  Yes I think he took PEDs I know what a bold statement

And the Pats are the darlings of the nfl if Edelman had only tested positive for some energy drink crap that’s somehow on banned substances list they would immediately let everyone know but they didn’t

The dude is selling a book and everybody seems to be kissing his ass to get him to talk.  But people know who he is.

Pats nation never talks about it because Brady shared the same trainer and has a faster forty time than he did when he was 22 and there is only one obvious conclusion to be drawn.

The media is so in love with the patriots.

I'm  not talking about some energy  drink. I'm  saying a billion dollar industry  will design its' own super drugs for the players.

I'm saying Edelman didn't do crap.. Everytime there's a Pats scandal, they end up in SB. This last scandal happened in Florida, an hour away from this year's  SB location.

Are you referring to me?  All I say is Brady is the GOAT which he is.  I’m not a Belichick worshipper like a lot of people are and if the patriots do cheat (I.E - steroids) I call it out while everyone else acts like it’s a nothingburger

What exactly are you expecting? The punishments for violation of substance-abuse policy are negotiated with the NFLPA and written into the labor agreement.

So you're upset that... he got the same punishment as everyone else? BTW, in most cases, it's the player that announces what the substance was (if indeed it was a mistake with a legal supplement). If they're quiet on what it was, then yes it was probably intentionally-taken. But again, the labor agreement is agnostic as to intent, otherwise everyone would argue lack thereof and the last thing Goodell wants is hearings.

I’m upset that the media ignores Edelman’s documented drug issues but we have to hear about ARod to this day
