BettyBoop
With Kyle Murray going first the dominoes start to fall. Will it be in the Jets favor? Teams are calling the Niners to get their QB, Haskins, and after evaluating many options, Lynch decides he wants Bosa to be the other face of the franchise. With Haskins still on the board, Chucky goes to work. He trades Derek Carr to the Redskins for #15 straight up which gives him FOUR first round picks. The Jets are up and the calls keep coming. Chucky wants Haskins AND Josh Allen and offers #15, #24 and #35 for a net gain of 150 points. Dave Gettleman starts sweating and offers #6, #37 and a 2020 second rounder. The Jags are out of the mix having just signed Foles. The Skins just traded for Carr so they're out of it, so it's a two team race for #3. Mac fibs and tells Chucky that the G-Men are offering #6, #37 and a 2020 first!. Chucky tries to call Gettleman to confirm but his line is busy. Chucky scowls and throws in a 2020 fourth round pick and Mac proclaims 'we have a deal!'! After signing Saffold, Paradis, Anthony Barr, Tevin Coleman, Preston Smith and Bryce Callahan in free agency the plan is set. The draft plays out as follows: #15 - Andre Dillard, LT #24 - TRADE. Jets gets Eagles #53, #57 and 138. #35 - Jerry Tillary, DL. It wouldn't be a Jets draft if Mac didn't take a DL #53 - Garrett Bradbury, C. After ignoring the OL for four years, Mac can't stop drafting or signing them! #57 - Rock Ya-Sin, CB #68 - Deebo Samuel, WR #93 - Oshane Ximines, OLB #105 - Miles Sanders, RB. Mac get his version of a Penn State RB. #138 - Isaac Nauta, TE Quite a haul.

I'd really love capital for next year in a trade but this is fine. Take it and Run. The 24 is going to be strong for a solid TE or more OL help. If Macc takes a DL when Darell Henderson is on the board at 35 or if one of the first rd WR's slip, I'd be disappointed.
BettyBoop
WAIT! Turns out a surprise team enters the mix! It's the Packers with their two first rounders and 10 overall picks! To pay back the Raiders for leaving Oakland (again!) Mac trades #3 for the Pack's, #12, #30, #75 and a 2020 second round pick. After signing the same free agents as above the NEW Jets draft plays out as follows: #12 - Jonah Williams, LT #30 - TRADE. The Bengals pull a "Ravens" and trades into late round 1 to get their QB of the future (Daniel Jones) with a team fifth year option. Jets get #42, #72 and #149. #42 - Irv. Smith JR, TE #68 - Jeffery Simmons, DT #72 - Elgton Jenkins, G/C #75 - JJ Arcega-Whiteside, WR #93 - Michael Jackson, CB #105 - Darrell Henderson, RB #140 - Tyree Jackson, QB #149 - Emanuel Hall, WR

joewilly12
That wild scenario reminds me of this...... Jets trade for tight end Continuing a whirlwind flurry of wheeling-and-dealing, the Oakland Raiders on Wednesday evening achieved their goal of securing a first-round draft choice, by trading veteran tight end Doug Jolley to the New York Jets. In exchange for Jolley, who started 26 games in three seasons, the Raiders received the Jets' first-round choice, the 26th pick overall. Oakland had been without a first-rounder, having traded it to Minnesota as part of the package to acquire wide receiver Randy Moss from the Vikings. In addition to Jolley, the Jets got a second-round pick this year, the 47th selection overall, and a pair of sixth-round picks. The Raiders also got a seventh-round pick from the Jets. Oakland still owns its own second-round pick, the 38th overall. The second-rounder sent to the Jets was acquired from Houston on Tuesday night in a deal that sent former first-round cornerback Phillip Buchanon to the Texans. There have been rumors for several days that the Raiders were accumulating extra picks in an effort to use them as bargaining chips for a foray back into the first round. There had also been rumblings that Oakland was shopping Jolley -- who, like Buchanon fell out of favor with the coaching staff -- in trade discussions. New York officials have been attempting for months to bolster the tight end position. The Jets signed restricted free agent Jeb Putzier to an offer sheet last month, but Denver kept the three-year veteran by matching the five-year deal. Anthony Becht, the Jets' starter for the past four seasons, defected to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an unrestricted free agent. The most experienced tight end on the Jets' roster, before adding Jolley, was Chris Baker. But the three-year veteran, a third-round choice in 2002, has started just one game and posted only 34 receptions. Jolley, 26, was the Raiders' second-round selection in 2002, and the former Brigham Young standout had 90 catches for 972 yards and five touchdowns in 47 appearances for the Raiders. Forty-five of his receptions resulted in first downs. His best season was his rookie campaign, in which he posted 32 catches for 409 yards and two touchdowns, despite starting only three games. After they were on the clock , and picked the Qb , than they would move Carr in a trade.( why would any team give up their Qb, and show rest of the teams they have to draft a Qb. The Raiders aren't trading up, as they are more likely to trade back in the draft.
