Yes, it's very hard to land a free agent by offering them money that makes them the highest paid at their position which includes only 3 players who make over 9 million a year. Seriously, Bell, Gurley and Johnson are 13 million+ then the next is at 8.3 million.

Dude goes and plays it cool.

Lands LeVeon Bell for $13 million per year.

Well done, Macc.  This one's for you!

Lands Mosley.

Lands Re-signs Anderson.

Lands Crowder.

Lands Bellamy.

Trades for Osemele.

Credit where credit is due, well done, Macc!

Dude has done a nice job.

You literally said the exact opposite an hour ago in the "didn't think it was going to be this bad" thread.

You're just going to keep telling that lie about him being the highest paid huh?

So your argument is that Bell will be such a stunning success that they will cut him... Excellent.

Bell has a 4 year 52.5 Mil contract with incentives that if maxed out would net 61 Mil.

What do you think those incentives are bub?  My guess is leading the league in rushing every year and/or TD's with playoff wins sprinkled in..  If all that happens you still complaining?

All that aside here's a tip..  The only thing that matters with NFL contracts is the guaranteed money.

That one was free..  the next lesson will cost you.

3 offensive spots, basically 30% of the offense markedly improved, LG, sot WR and RB.

herndon a year older

Sam a year older.

offense still just ok- need a stud #1 wideout which we prob won’t get and 4 lineman

But all these guys are young enough to grow together during Sams rookie contract

It’s going to be way more fun to watch the Jets

And next year Elliott will be paid more than all of them.  And then Kamara and maybe Fournette will join the club.  Then Saquon will eclipse them all.  It's a cycle.  The last guy to sign usually is the highest paid.  We're actually fortunate that Bell is not making more than Gurley and DJ because I'm sure that's what he was expecting.

After the Osemele trade, I’d said I’d be ecstatic if we landed Paradis and Bell.

I’d have traded Mosley for Paradis, but ok, Mosley is a good player that can make our rush defense stout and come up with the occasional big play.

The Bell acquisition is great.

Solid job so far, Macc.  We’ll see what ya do with the remainder of our cap and in the draft.

They say it takes a big man to admit he was wrong.  They also say it takes a small man to keep whining about the same sh*t over, and over, and over, and over again.

Dear Teeny  Weenies,  Get over it, and admit that so far, this off season, our GM has done a good job of getting us some pretty damn good football players.  It shouldn't be that hard.
