DE/Edge Jordan Jenkins and Darron Lee incumbents ? (Leonard and Henry in the trenches, Mosley and Williamson manning the middle)

CB opposite T Johnson (Adams, Maye, D Roberts deep)

Center O-Line still needs some work (Beachum/Osemele on the leftside, Beachum last year of contract, Winters/Shell rightside)

Hopefully Macc is on the phone with the Giants about 6 and 17. If not:

Targets:

1st round #3: Bosa, Josh Allen, Montez Sweat, Rashan Gary? Jonah Williams? Greedy Williams?

3rd round #68, #94 and 4th round #104:  C Erik McCoy, CB Julian Love, CB Rock Ya-Sin, CB Saivion Smith, CB Lonnie Johnson, DE Joe Jackson, DE Jaylon Ferguson

OT

Do we feel set with Beachum and Shell (coming off an injury)?

OT is a MUST for this draft.  I feel like there are a bunch of guys who could step in day one and contribute at RT and challenge Shell.  Shell would then become a really good back up swing tackle.  This team is desperate for depth at OT.

Can Shell play LT even decently?  If so, Jawaan Taylor would be an interesting guy if we moved down just a few slots.  He looks like the most game-ready guy in the draft to come in and play RT from day 1.

Regarding the D-Line, Cimini tweets this morning:

By retaining NT Steve McLendon, the #Jets starting D-line remains intact. It could get a big addition in the draft (Quinnen Williams). Depth chart:

DE: Leonard Williams, Henry Anderson, Nathan Shepherd, Bronson Kaufusi, Charles Tapper

DT: McLendon, Folorunso Fatukasi

He really can't play LT at all and went so far as to say that he is much more comfortable playing on the right when asked his rookie season.

Part of the reason he fell in the draft is because he played well at RT early in college, and then got moved to LT and struggled.  He also looked completely lost at LT in the preseason.

Ideally Id like to take someone like Bobby Evans or Tyus Howard with our 3rd round pick who can sit behind beachem for a year and take over in 2020.

TO ME, J.Williams is not only the most NFL ready OT but he is a guy that can be a very good (Pro Bowl caliber) starting LT in the NFL. I think people are underestimating his abilities b/c of his measurables (or lack there of). Which is to their detriment. If you want an OT and J.Williams is still on the board (in a trade down scenario of some sort) you take him and don't look back.
