Johnny Lam Jones passes away.

Sad. I vividly recall when the Jets traded 2 1st rounders to move up and get him. Shane would have lost his****.

U of Texas had Ham, Jam and Lam Jones all on the same team.

He was drafted around the same time I became a Jets fan. So sad to hear he passed. RIP.

A major bust only because of where he was drafted. A better player than people think of him. RIP

Remember how highly regarded he was coming out and what everyone thought would be one hell of a twosome, Lam and Wesley.

Can still hear Dick Enberg saying "world class speed" whenever he was talking about Johnny Lam Jones.   RIP.

saddened to hear this

not a good deal for the Jets at 2 but when he was in there, I loved watching him run and rooted for him until the end

i am 39, not old enough to remember him. what was the atmosphere around him and the jets fans considering he was such a high pick and didn't materialize as a pro?
