Josh Kline, G released.

Patriot Killa

This has been a Titans offensive line that has been intact for three years now, but the results have slowly diminished over time instead of improving. A significant portion of that was health, but a few guys took key steps back as well. Right guard Josh Kline didn’t miss time but still struggled to his lowest-graded season as a pro (58.0 overall).

PFF has him graded at 58.0.  Winters was 62.6.  Take that for whatever it's worth.

I meant RG, but, yeah, we dont need every Random FA lineman, we need a Center. We're ok at OG with KO and Winters.....OT should be drafted and developed.

He's had two bad years in a row.  After a poor 2017 campaign, the Titans re-signed him, hoping a change to a zone blocking scheme would help.  It didn't. His cutting came at a cost of 3.5 million in dead cap money.  That should tell you all you need to know.

Brian Winters isn't the root of all evil.  Not every released player is an upgrade.  Let the new coaching staff make the determination if he should stay.  Guys like this will always be available.  Proof positive is the improvement of the Giants moribund offensive line that got better with in season replacements.

Titans switched to zone blocking last year I think and Klines stats plummeted.  Are we running zone blocking in this new offense?  May not be a good fit for us

Never mind Kline...  With Osemele at LG, we had better be running a power scheme.  He's not a great zone blocking fit.
