TuscanyTile2 Posted March 20, 2019 Author Share Posted March 20, 2019 At the start of the offseason I was all about trading down. Then we heard about how great these defensive players are and my opinion changed to "screw that. Let's stay at 3". After reading about the idea of trading down though, I'm back to being all about that. I still love the idea of trying to get the Redskins #1 next year. They looked so bad when Alex Smith went down last year that it's conceivable they could pick 1st overall next year if Haskins has a bad rookie year (which certainly wouldn't be uncommon for a rookie QB). I like the idea of being as excited to watch Redskins games (hoping for them to lose) as I would be for Jet games next year. The idea that I could root for the Jets while still having a shot at a high draft pick (that we could trade down with) would be the best of both worlds.
