Gastineau Lives
I haven't clicked the link yet, is it a mock draft where we trade down a few dozen times and draft the entire sixth round? Popular Post UnknownJetFan
Them getting back our 3rd and 4th rounder for their 2 firsts and our first (Giants get Nos. 3, 68 and 105). No, not a good trade at all. We can't have the whole draft blown up to get a LT and CB still leaving more major holes at Edge rusher and Center that we likely then would not get in this draft with that trade. If Mac makes that trade he definitely wants to get fired. Heck we gave three 2nd rounders and our 6th overall pick to get a QB and they can give equal. We get their 6th, 17th and 2nd rounders all this year for them to move up 3 spots. As it is moving down to 6 will be we lose out on all three blue chip defenders since 5 spots in front of us with 2 QBs coming off the board 99% chance likely means that Bosa, Willians, and Allen, will all be gone. 10 5
jetstream23
And this is so Billsy.... Should we protect our QB if he tends to do better off script when running for his life and winging it??? lol
DMan77
I like it because it means we start building an OL! But I don't like it because we miss on a blue-chipper. I want both. Popular Post Lith
So, they have us trading back, but coming away with even fewer picks than we have now. 3 for 6 & 17 I would do. Nixhead
Love the mock but I don't see the Giants trading up. Just like the Jets had a list of QBs they would of taken at 3 I see the Giants having a list that also includes Josh Rosen and one of their guys will be available at 6. No need to trade up. Hope Im wrong.
T0mShane
Giants have a million needs and literally no one seems to think Haskins is all that good. I’m of the belief that they’d trade their second for Rosen and let Eli have his retirement run this year, then roll into 2020 with Rosen and Barkley, which could be fine depending on how they fill in around them in this draft 2
CanadaSteve
First off, that is one of the WORSE trade proposals I have ever seen. If anything we would get the other 1st outright for the trade up, not including our picks. Second, the two picks in the first: no thanks.

But you pay a PREMIUM to move up and grab a QB, especially, under this scenario, the Giants want Haskins and think the Raiders are going to take him at the #4 spot. If the Giants want to move up, they better give up both 1st rounders and not expect anything back. Or, I'll take the #6 pick, the Giants 2nd rounder, throw in a 4th or a 5th and next years 2nd rounder. 1

playtowinthegame
Dwayne Haskins is the best quarterback in this draft, and somebody is trading up to get him. I think this could be a win win trade for both the Giants and the Jets. 1

Popular Post genot
I don't think Beachum is that bad, to the point we have to reach for a LT, who half the scouts say would be better suited to be a guard. We can wait a year to address the LT position. Failing to draft an impact rusher in this draft, especially, would be unforgivable 5
BigRy56
Man that would be tragic if we passed on QW at 6 for Jonah... Greedy Williams would be a great pick - he's going to be a good one.

Plus, if the board fell the way it does in this mock, I'd go Quinnen Williams (or possibly Jawaan Taylor) with the first pick, and Brian Burns with the second.
slats
Quote Our first mock trade. The Giants send the No. 6 and No. 17 (which they got in the OBJ trade) to the Jets for Nos. 3, 68 and 105. They then beat the Raiders to the punch by taking Dwayne Haskins, filling the budgets for New York newspaper editors for the next eight months. Crap deal.

Untouchable
The trade sucks giving away our 3rd and 4th rounders. And I’d probably take Quinnen and Hockenson in this instance.
jetstream23
Based on how this Draft fell the Jets could have also done any of the following.... 1. BPA in Quinnen Williams at 6, LT Andre Dillard at 17 2. LT Jawaan Taylor at 6, Edge Rusher Brian Burns at 17 3. Full DEFENSE -> Quinnen Williams and Greedy Williams 4. Full OFFENSE -> Jawaan Taylor and WR N'Keal Harry 5. Trade back again from #6 for a huge haul given that the #1 player on many team's Draft Boards (Q. Williams) is still there.
