This isnt the only big board that has Simmons in the top 10/15 because big boards are about talent. Draft (mock) boards are something different. You use both to seek value as the real draft progresses. Everybody's board is about talent. Value includes need. Nobody cares how good a player is in a vacuum, they care about how good he is compared to what they have/freely available talent. The higher in the draft, the more it's about absolute value, the lower in the draft, the more it's about marginal value.

That more than anything explains his total failure in the NFL. Doe's Sweat have those same issues? He has a very successful business now helping people He worked the system and left the nfl healthy and wealthy sucks for Jets fans but there is nothing missing between the ears with him

I wasn't clear about what i meant. You could tell by hearing him talking, that he wasn't really dedicated to the sport, and playing it. Perhaps he was persuaded to play because of hi athletic ability???

The higher in the draft, the more it's about absolute value, the lower in the draft, the more it's about marginal value. There are different boards that teams use. One board is a mock based breakdown of how the draft could fall based on other teams needs, similar to a mock draft. The other are talent-based big boards and are used to show what a team thinks is the top talent by order. There is another big board that separates top talent by position and is color coordinated based on needs of the team. Talent isnt solely evaluated in a vacuum, if it was then scouts only responsibility would be to go to the combine and pro days to accumulate results. Hence, there would be no need to evaluate players on the field. No one has said or has even suggested that. Im simply stating the facts. There are big boards that are based on talent. As players are picked and are removed from availability this board can be used to reveal value if someone falls for example. There are numerous big boards that are talent based that has Simmons in the top 10 top 15 because of his talent. That doesnt mean that he'll be drafted in those spots given his current injury.
