Why respond with this bullsh*t do you think your cool or something.

Nope already bought my wife flowers.

Besides she wears a medium and wouldn't wear a mens jersey.

At least I didn't start one with a crazy trade idea or about my true feelings on the new uniforms.

Focus on the jersey I need to find one.

That jersey is a piece of crap. Wash it once and its done. Champion. Really? Cheapest quality sports stuff JW.  I got a sweet M&N Namath throwback jersey that's vintage and legit.  Never even wore the damn thing because I bought it and its freaking huge.  But good luck. Get one of these in the meantime.

'94. I was walking past The Manhattan Mall in NYC in mid-town and saw a crowd. I asked someone what people were lining up for. Joe Willie Namath and a bunch of old SB III Jets were giving out free autographs through Champion in exchange for purchasing footballs and throwback jerseys commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the win, but buying merchandise wasn't required. Say what?!  I called my boss from a payphone on 34th Street to say I was gonna be late.

I stood on line for 3 hours and got Joe and Weeb's autograph on a piece of Jets logo stationary. This was before Joe's double knee replacement and it was obvious how much pain he was in, but he hobbled, grimaced, and muscled through it. Weeb was in a wheelchair with his signature baseball cap on with a blanket over his lap, but I think Joe needed it more.

I chit-chatted with John Dockery, Randy Rassmussen, Larry Grantham, and woo woo Don Maynard for a while. When it was my turn, I went, "Joe!" I told him about my childhood/life-long bond with my Daddy and the Jets and going to the games. I also told him my Daddy had Parkinson's  now and that he just signed the tickets over to me because he was afraid that I would lose them if he died (he did die 2 yrs later).

He was so nice! He asked me who to autograph it to, so I spelled out my name and my Daddy's and he wrote, "To jeto and Carl: GO JETS! Joe Willie Namath, Super Bowl III." Buzzkill Turd Guy behind me goes, "You just made that autograph worthless by having him make it out to someone specific."  "Like I care? It's not for sale!" I was so happy! Joe made a face at Buzzkill Turd Guy and said to me, "You have a pretty name, and give my best to your Father." AND THEN HE STUCK HIS HAND OUT. I was so happy! And I knew my Daddy would be thrilled.

So now that all of you are thinking My Joe Namath Story was all about kismet, serendipity, shaking Joe Namath's hand, and not washing my own hands for three days because of it, you're not completely wrong. My secondary motive was to never miss an opportunity to tell Woody the Rube to go fck himself for taking transfer rights away from the STHs he failed to extort as punishment for not purchasing a PSL. Oh, and The New Dump is a roofless shi thole.  GO JETS!!!

Great post, thank you for sharing that.

Aw, thanks, you bet. Woo woo Don Maynard, lol. What a great Jet, but he is a little out there. Not John Riggins out there, but still a little out there. Was anyone on here there when he made his speech at The Old Dump after he was inducted into the HOF? Awwwwkkkkward! It was like Luca Brasi practicing his speech to Don Corleone on Connie's wedding day but with a Texas accent, haha.  I can't believe he's 86 years old now. Hopefully he'll be around for a long time. Unfortunately players from the SB III team are dropping like flies. : /

It’s a long-sleeve t-shirt / sweater.

Champion had the license for this type of stuff going back to around 2006, because I bought something similar back then.

You’re really fat.

I am pissed that every response wasn’t a stupidly unrelated image, offering zero humor, and a messed up aspect ratio.

The jersey isn't for me my friend had one like this and lost it during a bitter divorce his stuff went into storage and he didn't pay the bill lost everything in the locker.

We both had these jerseys we bought them at a store in Princeton called Cosby's they also had a store at Madison Square Garden.

Im not fat I too wear an XXL

I have picked up an extra 20 lbs being less active from surgeries.

I plan on losing it.

I used to lift weights and had a very physical job.

I am athletic build.

I like jerseys loose not fitting like a glove as I don't wear skinny jeans to match or want to be able to wear a hooded sweatshirt under  the jersey.

STOP with the bullsh*t talk about the jersey or shut the hell up.

The one on eBay isn't  the exact jersey its a knock-off. Thanks

Good to know that I'm not morbidly obese. Just morbid. Why do they even call it "morbidly obese"? We euphemize everything in this country. It's ridiculous.
