Love Mangold but Mawae was better.

Darnold should have tried to sweet talk him out of retirement.

We got Mawae in his prime. We never got to see Mawae at the end of his career, when his body broke down in Tenn, like we did with Mangold. I think as a whole Mawae had a better overall career while Mangold had a better Jet career. It's splitting hairs.

Nick Mangold truly the the best Center to ever play for the NY Jets on and off the field.

Your opinion is understandable.

When was it this happened? Mawae was first team all pro at age 37.

Mawae took care of himself. He played 6 more seasons than Mangold.
