If a guy that avg 8 sacks a year, who's sack totals have declined each of the last 3 seasons goes for a 1st and 2nd and $20mil+ per year, I am definitely screaming for the Jets to take Allen on Thurs. I look at some of the contracts that solid but not great pass rushers got this off season and it's crazy. The inflation at the position makes it even more important to be drafting pass rushers frequently. I think we do end up drafting Allen. I’d prefer to draft QW and sign Ansah but Allen is also a good move and a risk the jets have to take

Sticking at 3 only makes sense if you believe the draft experts are right even though they've been wrong almost every year.

Parcells got here and immediately wanted to trade down. Manning and his dad asked Parcells if he would be the first overall pick Parcells would not give them a positive answer So trading down got us James Farrior instead of Peyton Manning. See? Trading down always works out
