*******OFFICIAL NFL DRAFT DAYS THREAD*******

Is Quinnen Williams studlier than the last stud player we drafted at six to pressure Tom Brady? Or the guy we just paid $8 mil per to to pressure Brady up the middle? I’ll just assume that he’s studlier than the 28 year old DT we took in the third round last year to pressure Tom Brady.

Meanwhile turn ESPN back on..  teams keep passing on your wunderkind and his incredible 3 cone time.

Reminds me when the lions drafted dud wrs at the top of the draft two years going, then had the cajones to take Calvin Johnson.

The only player on the Jets that could bring them to a Super Bowl is Darnold. How the **** they don't do everything to surround him withtalent and protect him is beyond me. It's a disgrace. I fully expect the Jets to go defense with both picks tomorrow. CB and Edge. Guaran****inteed

Jenkins can play Strongside, Copeland can play rush end...of course we need to upgrade but you can start out with that

Which of our MLB is playing olb lee aside?

We probably could’ve traded back with the Bills and gotten Oliver and a second rounder or another 3rd rounder.

Grats to Lions gettin my favorite guy.

Glad the Bills didn't get him...  I was texting with a bills fan buddy hoping he wasn't going to be there..  we just got rid of gronk..  don't need another stud TE to deal with.

Don't have the DEs for it. Usually 4-3 DEs are speedy guys that pass rush, not big brutish/athletic guys.

They certainly will have the push up front to be up in Brady’s grill and control LOS

In this analogy, we draft the Calvin Johnson of DTs next year

but why is everyone acting like Macc was stubbornly refusing deals..  it was common knowledge they wanted to trade down but not if it meant getting bent over..  F the teams that low balled him and lets hope Quinnen is as advertised.

I don't know. Don't care really, either. Not sure why you do.

Mac has established a reputation of faltering at the negotiation table where it concerns trades. People just take past failures and lump them together with recent ones, and then whine. It's what people do.

I liked the Q Will pick, would have preferred a trade down, but from the two dozen prep podcasts I listened to the past 2 months he seemed like the BPA...

F BRADY.  We got a dude that will pressure Allen up the middle when he wants to run.

NYJ and Bud=ffalo on the rise.

NE on the decline.

I don’t enjoy racist conspiracies but the Giants drafting Daniel Jones feels a lot like that stretch of NFL football when John Fogerty was the halftime act of literally every game.

Dave Gettleman is the smartest man in any room..just ask him, he will tell you.

Hockenson vs another DT? No difference this year between 8 and 3. Jets need offense.

Ok, now we’re trading with teams in our division. Come on.

DT 1-6th overall

DT 1-3rd overall

DT 3-72 overall

S 1-6th overall

S 2-39 overall

And we have drafted two olineman 5th and 6th rounders in that time.

He's won just about every trade he's made...  but your story is fine I guess.

There are 10 horrific moves for every decent one Macc has made. That translates into a .100 BA. Not a story. FACT.

I agree. I think the problem for most folks here is that they wanted Ed Oliver for these reasons, and wanted him later - so we could recoup some picks. If the Lions take Oliver here, then it's moot - because it was the Bills pick that we were most likely going to land to make this happen, and trading in-division is a pipe dream.

Brady is an old man with hemmroids and and one good tooth.

Long term planning for  a guy who is well into his 40s is dumb
