Interesting pick. Sounds like first round talent. Hopefully the D can put it together and really terrorize qbs this year.

  • "Despite starting just five of 13 games last year, he had career highs and team-leading totals of 11 sacks and 19.5 tackles for loss and was named AP All-America second team."
  • " He was one of two FBS players last year with 10-plus sacks and five-plus FFs, the other being first-round Kentucky edge rusher Josh Allen. "

I’ve always thought that the Combine was only a little more than a complete waste of time. I guess this will test my theory.

Edoga: 24.5" VL, 9' broad jump. For the uninitiated, those numbers qualify you for a handicapped parking pass at any mall in America.

So we have two picks tommorrow eh?

I would wager they trade back, they have the 3rd pick in the 4th round.

T-1. CHUMA EDOGA, USC

Chuma Edoga, an athletic freak and USC’s primary right tackle for each of the past two seasons, allowed just four hurries across 304 pass-blocking snaps in 2018. With no sacks or hits allowed tied to his name, the 6-foot-3, 308-pound Edoga ranked tied for first in PFF’s pass-blocking efficiency (99.3).

Well this doesn’t fit the narrative.

Your thoughts? There's no way Polite can be good, yes?

Rick DiBernardo, Chuma Edoga

Umpire Rick DiBernardo penalizes USC tackle Chuma Edoga after a post-play scuffle. Edoga was ejected for pushing DiBernardo.

So, what you're saying is we got a Dawg?

Meanwhile, in other news,  @#27TheDominator is killing the mock draft.  Lindstrom 8 picks earlier, Banogu, Hurd and Okekere all a round earlier than I picked them.  I wonder if Boykin will go before 102 where I picked him.

My top four guys — Bosa, Whiteside, Savage and Miles Sanders—were all taken in the first two rounds.

Tackle was always the biggest need on the line and tougher to find ,  so this makes perfect sense

Supposedly he's a G at the NFL level. I read that somewhere.

Bobby Evans would have been nice to get. Our fourth rounder has to be another OL or a trade back to get a fifth. Plus Harmon and Butler are still available.

Would give Macc a A- so far for this draft. Drafted BPA first and addressed 2 major areas of need in the third round

Wait what did I miss we traded back? Or traded up?

They gave Minny a 7th to go up one spot. Probably because they were pissed at Minny stealing all their players lol

No actually I don’t. I hated most of the red Ryan drafts and Maccs 2nd draft.  This draft has been good for us

Yeah, Tom, there's a shot. I mean I'm standing here jumping up and down for the 3sigma sparq guys and a waldo rusher but this definitely looks like a winner.

Quick question. Last year wasn’t one of the reasons given why Darnold’s play was down was due to the sub-par line? So we take said sub-par line into the nfl and expect better results?

Haha, his NFL comp is Kelvin Beachum!

Thanks Macc!

I think it’s spot on and I don’t see why that’s a bad thing.

Beachum has been at least a serviceable starting LT in the league for the last 5+ years.

The problem is he’s 30 and his contract is up after this season.

If Edoga can be an adequate replacement next season and allow the Jets to focus on other areas, that’s just gravy.
