Journeymen Nick Foles and Alex Smith are above Sanchez on this list too, and 13 QB's are ahead of your hero, Tom Brady. What does all that tell you? Probably that its a pretty meaningless stat for guys who haven't played many postseason games. He lives in an alternate reality where larger sample sizes actually reduce the statistical significance and increase the outlier bias of a given dataset.

Maybe in his universe, Thanos used the infinity stones to make it so Mark Sanchez is awesome and Eli Manning sucks. Only explanation why someone would ever think those 2 things are correct. 1
MCGAHEE2121
I think the jones pilling on is pretty ridiculous... So much of qb evaluation is projection and not flash espn headlines or stats in a vacuum. I think darnold is level higher prospect but i think jones will be solid. Out of the last 3 qb classes i feel 2-3 years allen from the bills will be the best unfortunately for us. His raw ability is insane...

Oh, please, how old are you? Mr. Snowblind By Statistics now wants to count drops as receptions that enable the team to run out the clock? So much for your mathematically precise analyses about football. Quote So Eli is a great QB and Brady is not? ?? Oh they're both great but when they met in the Super Bowl in 2008 and 2012, Eli was the better man. Quote Eli was furnished the perfect amount of time was left for him Which is another way of saying Brady couldn't run the clock down before he scored in 2008, or make the first down he needed in 2012. Eli ran the clock down to under a minute before his team scored both times. That's why he was MVP in both Super Bowls.

If that doesn't happen But those things did happen and you're using this board as your personal way of saying they really didn't. Get a grip. Eli didn't run the clock down, he got it much later. When you need a TD like Brady needed in SB 42 you can't play around with the clock as much as you can when you are down a FG or less like Eli was. 4 hours ago, kelticwizard said: But those things did happen and you're using this board as your personal way of saying they really didn't. Get a grip. They did happen and credit Eli and the Giants for taking advantage but this wasn't the 86 Giants, this was a decent team that got hot at the right time that won with dominating postseason defense. Quote Eli didn't run the clock down, he got it much later. When you need a TD like Brady needed in SB 42 you can't play around with the clock as much as you can when you are down a FG or less like Eli was. Brady got the ball with 7 min+ and scored the TD with 2 min +. A QB playing a great game doesn't do that. Brady gets a B: He got the TD, but he left too much time on the clock for a dangerous QB to come back and score. Many times in the past it was Brady who was the dangerous QB, this time it was Eli, at Brady's expense. Quote They did happen and credit Eli and the Giants for taking advantage... Thank you. And taking advantage of the opportunities your opponent gives you is what winning is all about, as any sports fan knows.
