Bingo!  Curtis Martin is an "accumulator" and Jamal Adams is all mouth.....yet Brooks Bollinger and David Clowney were going to save this franchise and didn't get a fair shot! lol

Indeed.  He really had alot of support amongst the fanbase in my memory.  He wasn't a guy who just had a few vocal supporters, alot of folks really thought he just needed more carries and he'd he'd be a beast.

We all get guys wrong, and (as is so often the case) when guys leave and then do piss all in multiple other places, it usually tells us how wrong we were.

He was terrible for us, he never wanted to be here and played like it. With no Brady and the easiest sched ever we couldn't even make the playoffs, a year later with a rookie QB we were in the AFC championship game

He was mediocre/bad most of that season ever before the iron Man got a boo boo and used that as an excuse.

He was awesome for Minnesota but remember that he wanted to play for the Vikings and not for us.  If we had 2009 favre we could have and probably would have won the SB in 2008 but 2009 favre never played for us.

Pretty good thru those first 11 games. He had 2461 yards on 70% passing with 20 TDs and 13 ints. Mark Sanchez hit on 56% of his passes one year. Awesome sauce.
