Jetsfan80
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001018706/article/2019-nfl-free-agency-updated-top-101-nfl-free-agents # 12 Free Agent (Overall) Ndamukong Suh DT Still a three-down starter at age 32, but the three-time All-Pro seemed to coast through the 2018 regular season before flipping the switch in a dominant playoff run. # 50 Morris Claiborne CB Not quite as stingy in coverage as he was in his breakout 2017 season, Claiborne still shattered a career high with 14 passes defensed as the Jets' top corner last year. # 59 Jay Ajayi RB The skills are there. So are the injuries, however, and the whispers that Ajayi has never quite maximized all of his talent. # 69 Corey Liuget DT A 103-game starter over eight seasons with the Chargers, Liuget's free agency timing couldn't be worse. He's coming off late November surgery for a torn quadriceps muscle. # 73 Michael Crabtree WR Declining speed is an issue at age 31, but Crabtree should still find regular snaps at a time when many top offenses are using four-receiver rotations. # 80 Kelvin Benjamin WR The red flags are numerous, but we aren't ready to completely discount any receiver who gained nearly 2,000 yards combined in his first two seasons. # 88 Muhammad Wilkerson DL Wilkerson has managed just eight sacks in three years since breaking his fibula at the end of a 12-sack campaign in 2015. He's more name than game at this point. # 91 Glover Quin S Quin played at a Pro Bowl level in 2017 but seemed to fall out of favor upon Matt Patricia's arrival in Detroit. If he commits to another season at age 33, the 10-year veteran should have no problem finding a taker for his services. # 93 Eric Berry S Berry's health is a total question mark and the reason for this low ranking, but he would bring unquestioned leadership and savvy to any locker room he joins. # 96 Derrick Morgan EDGE Morgan vanished last season while playing through knee and shoulder injuries. On a positive note, he tallied a healthy 16.5 sacks in 2016 and '17. # 97 Nick Perry EDGE Perry has struggled to stay on the field since signing a lucrative deal with Green Bay two years ago, seeing his sack totals plummet from a career-high 11 in 2016 to 8.5 in the last two years combined. Still just 29 years old in April, he can help a contender if he's healthy. # 101 Sam Bradford QB Sure, no one is entirely sure whether Bradford can stay healthy for a season again. But some team will look back at his excellent 2016 season and give him a chance to keep his career going as a backup.
peekskill68
Will be interesting to see how our "interim GM" feels about signing Claiborne....
SayNoToDMC
That's a sorry ass list. Really hope one of the teams who care about their QB's health and drafted interior lineman cut a decent center this offseason.
JetsMetsDevilsPA
It is a sorry ass list.... however I might take a flyer on Claiborne. The thing this list really lacks is really good OT or C.

Bradford's ability to get paid way too much every year till now is unbelievable. Guy belongs in a flag football league and I still doubt he'd make it a full season
sec101row23
If you guys have learned one thing about NFL free agency since watching Maccagnan for the last 5 years, it’s that very good players rarely hit free agency, and when you rely on free agency to build your roster, you are in big trouble.
Philc1
Claiborne stink last year. Granted to be fair he was forced to play man to man against the other team’s #1 every week because Tru was so putrid and we had 0 pass rush but still

That works out to $1.55M per start, $1.25M per touchdown, or $3.79M per win. He's only had 4 seasons where he was healthy enough and good enough to start 14+ games. Out of those 4, he's only had two seasons where he threw 20+ TD's. Bradford's last win under center was October 9, 2017. Amazing how many chances the league will give to a QB who was drafted high and showed a modicum of ability. And someone will undoubtedly give him a few million more this season when a starting QB gets hurt, if not sooner.

We currently have a little under $29M in cap space, so why not? As long as he doesn't block a young player on the depth chart by default who cares? Unless of course we're saving that coin for the mini-draft, in which case all bets are off!
