JetNation
Here is an excellent video from Emory Hunt of Football Game Plan.com. He was at the Jets OTA practice on Thursday in Florham Park and this is as behind the scenes of a look as you will see. The video is about 15 minutes long and it is basically a live stream of drills, it is worth checking out. Be sure to also check out Emory Hunt on Twitter. Emory will also be joining us this week on JetNation Radio, our NY Jets Podcast to talk about what he saw at practice this week. He also streamed his video from the post practice press conferences with – CJ Mosley, Sam Darnold, Jamison Crowder and Jamal Adams. The post Jets OTA Practice Video appeared first on JetNation.com (NY Jets Blog & Forum). Click here to read the full story...

Jetster
Loved seeing the intensity of these OTAs. New coaches, more leaders brings a different vibe. There are a lot of leaders on this team, guys that other less verbal guys can follow. When you play in the NFL & you know your not going anywhere without a QB, or without good coaching, it has to be a grind when you are without those things like the Jets have been for so long. You come into camp, you have a QB like McCown who has like 6 wins in three years, your gonna say all the right things but deep down you know you have NO SHOT at taking down Brady & the Pats it's disheartening. With Sam in his 2nd year, the additions of Bell, Crowder, Mosely, Poole, KO, what looks to be a good draft, a higher tier coaching staff, this group will actually believe they can win. With Sam & Bell, any success these guys have turns the Olines confidence up a notch. Guys want to be the extra block that springs Le'veon, or the guy that gives Sam that extra second to get rid of the ball and find a guy open. I sense a special Jet season on the way. If you can't run on an aggressive defense, you'll have to make offscript plays. It's going to be very difficult to run on QW + Leo, Anderson, Jenkins, Mosely, Adams. nycdan
The new helmets look too much like Eagles helmets to me.

Jets are much more deep metallic green. You could tell very easily side by side. You'll really notice the difference when we play them this year. It's more the shape of the logo, combined with the fact that the lettering isn't as distinct as I would expect. The picture is blurry which probably made it worse than it really is. And hopefully we'll play them three times this year.
