I agree with you 100%, some haters on here just pick and choose what they want to post. If you didn't read the entire article, what he posted would be taken in the wrong context. The problem with the whole system is the Rooney rule, if true, Douglas was hired months ago and is already picking a staff. However now we have to interview more candidates, which is just a waste of time for both sides. Of course it could give the potential candidate experience for the next interview. This Rule has to be updated in some way.

Any GM that talked to this moron I don't want anywhere near Florham Park. The f*cking nerve of this cretin to even give himself that type of authority to comment to a GM candidate is mind blowing!

The jets turnover GM’s every 3-4 years so this is the opportunity to interview for the 2022 position.    Take the interview and get on the radar. 

It’s also not a dead-end.   Everyone seems to land on their feet to fail again.   When you look at the track record (not including Carroll) HC’s and GMs seem to suck just as bad elsewhere as they did with the Jets
