power pitcher in the old 280IP 9 inning days

Pitch once every 5 days and play fan the rest of the time in between bullpen sessions and running sprints

Second choice would be a forward for the Rangers just so I could chuck pucks into the blue seats like Fotiu used to

Wait, you guys didn't all pay pro ball? Seriously?

I guess it is just me and one other poster that knows what the locker room is all about.

Long snapper center. Hardly gets touched!

That's the best kept secret in all of football. Not the touch part. You can make any team, even pro, and don't  have to be a monster. Kids, start hiking between your legs through a tire at all K, and P distances.

Growing up I wanted to be a center fielder, like a Rickey Henderson type.    I was fast, could run, could steal bases, and could bunt for hits really well.   However, I could not hit, and by the time people could throw any type of curve I was totally done.

Offense on one side, D on the other, referring to each other as them over there unless victory has been achieved.

Rickey played left mostly, didn't he?

My son long snapped in high school and for a little while in college he did it as well.

You do not know what pressure is until your son is long-snapping lol.

When he was a Yankee he played Center.

Griffey Sr, Dan Pasqua, few other guys played left.  Big Dave Winfield was in right.

I despise that POS Winfield.

That incident back when he was playing basketball at Minnesota was disgusting. How he and those other two thugs avoided jail time amazed me.

MLB, Center fielder, it was my childhood dream. I would (like to) model myself after Derek Jeter. Class act all the way around.

I always was intrigued by the position of cornerback and safety. That's why after the Jets, I loved  the San Francisco 49ers with Bruce Taylor (brother of Nets Brian Taylor) and Jimmy Johnson on the corners, Mel Phillips and Rosie Taylor the safeties. As for playing the position, it was 2 hand touch in the streets of Queens - stop and go at the sewer, down and out in front of the parked car, button hook near fire hydrant.

Would also love to be a free safety in the nfl

Player who’s game i wish i could model myself after though would be Earl Campbell ... sad to see the toll the game took on him though ... and my scarecrow body would snap in half even before reaching the line if scrimmage ... but outside of those 2 things ... i was blown away by what that man brought each & every day

I would take any of 3.....Formula One driver. MLB for Jets, and play like Butkus or Golfer like Fuzzy or Couples.

Pro surfer - no questions asked.  Travel the world to tropical paradises, surf the best waves in the world with nobody else in the water and date all the surfer model chicks.  No close second for me.  I'd be Kelly Slater.  Greatest competitive athlete in the history of sports and has literally dated all the hottest women in the world, millionaire, inventor, embassador.  Other than hating his degenerate family, there isnt too much to knock Kelly on.

Honorable mention;

Pro golfer - Arnold Palmer.

Kelly Slater, absolutely.

Close second would be Andy Irons, but without the bipolar disorder.

Third would be Shane McConkey, never saw anyone enjoy skiing, or anything really, more than he did.

Fourth: Jimmy Chin. Dude is just f*cking awesome at everything.

All good picks, and I love the Freddie Couples choice.

He’s had a nice, long, very profitable career, still killing it with endorsement money.

Speaking of killing it, (and I’m not trying to be morbid here) but if you know anything about his personal life, the guy is the male version of The Black Widow. At least as far as his post divorce life (2x) goes.

When I was surfing as a kid it was Curran, Kong, Potts, Thompson, Ho and of course Jerry. Surfer, not Surfing Mag. Blew my knee senior year in HS football, as bad as you could, surfing and skateboarding was done for me. Sucks balls!
