In New Jersey, a person is guilty of drunk driving if they operate a vehicle with the Blood Alcohol Concentration level of 0.08 percent or greater Upon striking the second vehicle, Herndon's car flipped and slid about 700 feet. One of his wheels was stuck in the side of the second vehicle. A witness claimed he saw Herndon driving at greater than 100 miles per hour. Herndon told the police officer he was driving 58 miles per hour. I don't think so.

jetstream23
Does the Leggett release look like a bad idea in hindsight or was he a goner no matter what? Get ready for a lot of 11 Personnel groupings to start the year I guess. I don't mind that with Crowder and Bell here now.

ScarletKnight89
I was hoping for 2 games. But it was a pretty bad DWI (not that they aren't all bad). I think he flipped his car or something. Hopefully he'll appeal and get it reduced to two games. We'll see.

There were 5 waiver claims placed on him, he appears to have some value. I liked him at Clemson but he really didn’t do much here. He had a reputation for being lazy but I had thought he did a 180 on that.
Popular Post 14 in Green
Screw him. Hes fortunate nobody was seriously injured or worse. Then he’d have a lot more to worry about then a 4 game suspension. Sorry if I don’t join in the “the nfl is screwing us” pity party here. The team will be just fine without him. If we’re not, he’ll have to live with that too. 5

genot
I"m probably going to get slammed by some for this. Our temporary GM should have never released Leggett. Too early too send a message, which what Gase was probably trying to do.

As if he’s sitting there at 2 games saying “hahahaaaa jobbed the system, I can drink and drive all I want” but at 4 games “shucks, I’ll never do that again”. He’s either going to learn from 2 or 4 or 6 or 8 games or he’s not. The number doesn’t matter. Honesty, what I think will matter is 1. The first game. Not being there opening weekend with his teammates. THAT’S what’s going to make it real.

He was lazy, never seemed like a YAC guy and dumping him doesn't move the needle one way or the other. I'm pretty sure they like the Da Vinci Code guy way better. IMO they roll with Wesco and Brown and then Herndon takes over when he is back. Everybody here will hate it, but this probably saves Tomlinson's job for another few weeks.
