NY Rangers reboot 2019-20

If the Rangers face Carolina in the play in round... Do you start Lundquist?

He's 33-12-1 with a .934 SV% and 2.00 GAA with 2 shutouts lifetime.

He is 25-5 against Carolina since the start of the 2011-12 season.

Over the last three seasons he's 8-1-0, 1.56 GAA and a .960 SV%.

Would that plus his experience in playoff atmosphere make him your starter?

I was actually thinking about that this morning. It’s a really interesting decision for the Rangers. If I’m them I’d go with Igor to start that’s who I have more confidence in right now as said as that is to say.

It's a tough call, but the experience and numbers are definitely in Hank's favor. With that being said, Igor is the guy moving forward. I'd start him, but I'd also be ready to go with Lindquist if he falters.

Completely agree, if Igor comes out flat get Hank out there. Short leash for Shesterkin.

When I saw it on twitter that was also my immediate reaction. With the way we’ve dominated Carolina I don’t blame them.

They play us well, our goalies have come up big against them. Everybody should be healthy, it won't be easy, but certainly winnable.
