He was ripping the Icelanders before the season stopped, saying they had give back the cup they won in November.

And rightfully so. Their start was keeping them in the playoff race by a thread.

I’m a big Cornell fan. Barron is an awesome player with size, skill and a howitzer of a shot. He also blocks shots kills penalties and plays physical. He’s got a great two way game. Can’t wait to see him at MSG.

Thanks for keeping the updates coming.
so depressed the Rangers surge to the playoffs is on hold. Add to this the NFL Draft being pushed back and I’m a quarantined, depressed, binge watching psycho.
Usually don’t get into the swing of baseball til June.

You might as well try out horse racing. It’s the only sport left and trust me you don’t even have to be betting on the horses for it to be fun.

I’ve never read it but people have told me it’s a great book. I should pick it up someday.

Then they luck into Crosby. An amazingly well run organization.

They are well run but it doesn’t hurt that, like you said they’ve had guys like Crosby and Mario. And don’t forget Jagr and Malkin.

Yes Mallon... salt in the wound!
Any word yet on if/when season will resume or playoffs start?

Not that I know of. As far as I can the MLB is really the only league that has a real plan to go through with.

NH?

This season gets weirder and weirder   Don’t know how it’s going to work. So division games spread out over the country? NH for Atlantic & Metropolitan, Montana for example = Central & Pacific?

I don’t think it’ll be spread out. The whole league will probably go to one location.

Agreed but if we have to include a #1 I’d have to take a deeper look at the type of talent available in the draft

Absolutely. Giving up a first with him is way too much in any draft imo.

Ouch. Bruins would be real tough but I say we’d give them a run for their money. This Rangers team doesn’t give up.

If the Rangers face Carolina in the play in round... Do you start Lindquist?

He's 33-12-1 with a .934 SV% and 2.00 GAA with 2 shutouts lifetime.

He is 25-5 against Carolina since the start of the 2011-12 season.

Over the last three seasons he's 8-1-0, 1.56 GAA and a .960 SV%.

Would that plus his experience in playoff atmosphere make him your starter?

I was actually thinking about that this morning. It’s a really interesting decision for the Rangers. If I’m them I’d go with Igor to start that’s who I have more confidence in right now as said as that is to say.

It's a tough call, but the experience and numbers are definitely in Hank's favor. With that being said, Igor is the guy moving forward. I'd start him, but I'd also be ready to go with Lindquist if he falters.

Completely agree, if Igor comes out flat get Hank out there. Short leash for Shesterkin.

Canes and Lighting were the only 2 teams to vote against the 24 team format.

I guess they don't want to face us. 😄

When I saw it on twitter that was also my immediate reaction. With the way we’ve dominated Carolina I don’t blame them.

Kakko is going to have a big postseason. He always seems to play well with a layoff.

Yeah, it's going to be interesting what happens with him next season.

They should hold on to him to ensure he never sees NHL ice again.

Well the details have not come out to why he declined to come to this camp, maybe it's because of Covid. We'll see what happens next with this saga.

Yea I guess but I obviously have little patience for this kid.

Is there even a Devil’s thread on this board😂

I think there actually is and like one person posted in it but I’m pretty sure it’s dead.

I don't think anybody will miss Lindy Ruff, I know Buffalo fans were happy to see him go too

The devils are a dumpster fire. They should’ve just given Laviollete the money.

Move them back to KC where they started and rekindle the Scouts. They built a nice arena that's empty.

Now what to do with the Pru?

Knock it down!

I am 100% rooting for the Rangers to win the Stanley Cup. If we do lose in the first round and get the first pick then it’ll be a nice consolation prize.

Rangers looked absolutely terrible. At least the Yankees are about to win otherwise my night would be completely ruined.

Starting goalie still not announced...

It’s gotta be Igor. I love Henrik but come on, Shesterkin is easily the best goalie on the team.

It could be anything. New protocol is that they cannot discuss injuries.

I’m guessing it’s not covid since I thought I heard them say DTD.
