Popular Post Peace Frog
Sam on with Humpty Canty and Rothenberg right now on ESPN. What an intelligent, articulate, grounded, great dude. Said those 3 weeks off when he got hurt were huge for his development to just watch what was going on. Had some family stuff going on so he said it came at a good time. Gave MAJOR props to McCown for folks still complaining about $10 million for a mentor. Worth every penny according to Sam. And he gets how hungry Jet fans are for a winner. CJ Mosley up next. Hurry! 5
Peace Frog
Gase on now. He’s everything we wanted. So pumped.
Peace Frog
Said Sam looked like a rookie before he got hurt, after watching Josh for 3 weeks he looked like a second year player. Saw how quickly he got the ball out and decision making.
Peace Frog
Needs to up conditioning as compared to Miami. Today’s weather felt like November down in Miami.
Peace Frog
Being smart with Khalil. Doesn’t need a lot of time to get him up to speed.
Peace Frog
Will be huge for Sam. Ty stands out. Robby, he’s never seen him before, he had a gear he’s never seen before. He gets a seen he’s gone. Powell good to see him out there. Cannon looks great, take a wrong angle on him and he’s gone. Kind of bummed about Herndon but will get him ready. Q does not want to be a TE and they bust his chops about it but he’s staying at WR.
Peace Frog
Looking at strength of schedule now is stupid because by the end of the year SOS usually flips.
Peace Frog
This guy is completely comfortable talking about his team or his players or the league. He sounds brilliant. He’s also pretty funny. Has no problem making fun of himself.
Peace Frog
After a loss he doesn’t go home with his wife. His 7 year old and his wife crush him about play calls. His 7 year old calls him an idiot for calling some plays and his wife is the daughter of a coach and after he lost to Colts 2 years ago on a bad call by him he got home at 1:00 am and his wife was waiting up for him and mocked him “cover 2, really?” Lol.
Peace Frog
He likes radio, said he has a face for it. Funny dude. Said when he coached Peyton he felt HE had to be prepared for QB meetings. Funny stories about Peyton.

That's awesome! Having a 7 yr old berate you after a loss for a dumb decision could be that extra wrinkle of motivation to think decisions through a bit more huh? lol I never knew that about his family. That's seriously funny.

Peace Frog
Not to beat a dead horse but these spots with Bowles in the past was like pulling teeth. It’s almost as if they couldn’t shut the guy up. He genuinely enjoys talking football and strategy and telling stories about the past and his current players. Breath of fresh air. Todd wasn't a guy who had a lot of personality. Personally I don't hate Bowles like many jet fans do. However I will admit he simply wasn't a head coach. he belongs more as a coordinator. As for Gase he still needs to prove himself too. We have had a lot of coaches come in and have success their first year then fizzle out. Now that we have Darnold hopefully Gase will break the trend and help this team be a consistent winner
