I think a lot will depend on how the first couple of series go.  Assuming KO and Winters are both out, if the back-up Gs can't protect Darnold, they may get him out of there sooner than planned. 

If protection holds up; I would expect 12 - 15 plays for the first offense; however many series that could take.

You should make things simple on yourself, bite the bullet & purchase NFL Gamepass. They really make it difficult to stream games during the regular season.

Last week was pretty vanilla and I think the second and third teams didn't really perform that well. Tonight I expect a few fireworks from the offense and defense to boost morale. At least that's what I hope LOL

I do buy it for the regular season. 

I watch most of the games in a bar with a bunch of friends; then like to watch the replay on my own during the week.  Although there have been plenty of times the last few seasons that I could not bring myself to watch the replays.

This.  although I am in NY so I watch it live on TV, but the gamepass is great for re-watching.  the condensed game option in particular, is awesome!

Mine came up as an automatic purchase renewal. I got an email saying congrats my membership has been renewed. Normally I'd be pissed about unauthorized use of my credit card but since I'm old & not very tech savvy it saved me hours of aggravation trying to purchase the 2019 subscription.

funny you should say that:  even though I'm old, I caught that disclaimer last year and cancelled the auto renew.  and man, you hit the nail on the head!  in order to sign up again, they had issues, and I had to create a new account with my work email, and they gave me some code to get it for free, since I paid, and they did not recognize it on my original account!!  I don't like using CCs, so I get it through itunes, and use itunes gift cards.  what a mess!  hopefully Sammy D and the Jets make it worth my while!!

I signed up, forgot to cancel after the Giants game & got my receipt on the 12th. At first, I was like f*ck, I cant believe I forgot to cancel, than I said WTF, I rarely spend money on myself & the Jets & this young QB & Coaches, GM, Bell, Crowder, have me a bit stoked. 

I also realized my wife & I spend that on appetizers & drinks, I'll be 60 next year, and based on family history, I might god willing have 25 years left, lol.

you'll be glad you did in the long run. NFL has such a lock they make it very difficult to stream games.

2nd week preseason is usually the least interesting of the 4 but it's still football.

Let’s all remember that Greg Williams came right out and said that they call preseason games to give JD a look at certain players in certain situations 

they will more than likely intentionally expose the corners to see what they need to do there

Thats a solid point. The preseason has numerous purposes. Least of which is to win the game.  I am just so happy to hear that our CS staff and FO are so in sync that they will be calling packages with the specific purpose of Joe Douglas getting a solid look. 

Whatever happens, we are in the infancy of an era with true potential here.  It's much more exciting to watch the preseason when you go in knowing this sort of thing and can maintain that mindset. It's probably going to take a while for us to actually trust the Jets org to be doing the right things the right way.
