Players being Cut from Other Teams (It's starting)

Could be worth a look possibly at OG/Center.

Texans cutting offensive lineman Martinas Rankin, a former third-round draft pick, according to a league source. Rankin showed a lot of potential, starting games at left tackle and guard as a rookie. Tough player with lot of upside. Expected to be popular on waivers

Hoyer cut.  The ride of Sidham has begun.  Tom Brady will be benched at some point this year for Sidham.  You heard it hear first.

Stidham will be as good as all of the other glorious brady backups that have rocked the league for years.

U dont get it.  U dont go with a 4th round rookie as the only option after Brady unless hes got the goods.

As jet fans we have to accept this.  Bellichek + Stidham is going to be a 13-14 win team year after year.

Its going to be a fun challange for the next 10 years.

Another surprise in Seattle: The #Seahawks are releasing veteran CB Jamar Taylor, source said. He'd been the frontrunner for the nickel job for much of camp. Now a free agent.

Isnt poole the nickel? We would need someone to possibly play the #2 right?

Stefan Wisenewski who  we looked at was waived by the Eagles.

And that was macc who didn’t sign him. Conversely Douglas was a part of the FO that re signed him. He’s an old guy at this point but could be nice to have around.

There was also that OL cut from Cincy today. His name escapes me at the moment. Pollack was his coach last year. I’d be interested in seeing if they grab him too.

They are saying the jets will potentially be the most active team tomorrow. I’d be happy if we brought In CB help (scandrick) OL help (Wisenewski) and WR (Jaylen Smith).

Big day. Mini draft

Want to put some cash on which Qb Darnold or Carr has a better year.  Let's see how much you believe in Sammy boy.

All those weapons now at sammy fingertips. Lmao.   The Jets have cupcake schedule versus the Raiders who have one of the toughest schedules.   Doesn't matter as it isn't even close comparing what the Raiders have on offense versus the Jets.    It like the Jets going to a gun fight, with a butter knife.

As expected Cairo Santos is now available:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made 17 more roster moves on Saturday to get their roster down to the regular-season limit of 53 players before the 4:00 p.m. ET deadline.

Those moves included the waiver or release of 15 players, including fourth-year outside linebacker Noah Spence, veteran kicker Cairo Santos and a trio of safeties: John Battle, Kentrell Brice and Isaiah Johnson.
