checkdown?  hahaha  My God... you really are clueless.  That's the one thing you can't say about Darnold is that he checks down too much.  You're just making stuff up and trolling. Face it:  Bills suck.  Allen has an arm like a cannon, but can't get to close to 60% accuracy.  He'll be a career mediocre QB at best.  Can't teach accuracy.  Love his running capabilities.  Other than that, Allen is and will remain significantly inferior to Darnold and Mayfield.  All because he is terribly inaccurate.  Sorry Bills fans.  Your team will continue to alternate between mediocre and totally sucking.

I’m sorry the Jets are in no position to say that the Bills suck. We have finished with a better record than the Jets for the last 3 years. The Bills have been to playoffs within the last 3 years. Last year Allen completion% was at 52% vs Darnold at 57% which it took Darnold a strong finish (especially against the Packers) to get there. Jets fans sounding like a nerd who after dating every ugly girl under the sun finally might have found a girl( Darnold) that they think is hot and not ashamed to take out in public.

Point is that Jets fans are scared to death of Allen because if it does click for him you know in your heart you guys are screwed for the next 15 years no matter how great Darnold may be.

Yeah we predicted a home win after we took your heart in your stadium 41-10. It’s just hard to predict a miracle 4th qtr comeback with our special teams playing like crap and Robbie Anderson making some clutch catches.

Wont happen again this time though

And you lost.

Darnold showed why everyone had him rated so much higher than you're QB, he's just so much better than Allen.  Wasn't specials.  It was the idiot throwing blind passes out over the middle and giving the Jets everything they could hope.

Was you saying that when he threw 4 interceptions the Dolphins the same team Josh lit up for 5 total TD’s to end the season. Josh has NEVER thrown 4 interceptions in a game

Alll this Darnold tough talk and all this what he did for last 4 games of the season but guess what happened last game of the season vs the Pats? A dud where his offense put up 3pts. SMH

Accuracy never "clicks".  Either you have it or you don't.  Allen doesn't.  His legs are scary.  His arm is not.

Darnold might not work out.  Allen definitely will not work out.  Deep down you know this.

Because his throws are too inaccurate for even the DB's to catch.  Hard to throw picks when the ball is thrown out of bounds.

Show me ONE clip In the regular seasonwhere the ball was out of bounds that wasn’t a throw away. Jets fans always talking out of their ass

No, it comes from watching the entire season.  Darnold is a lot better than Allen, was the top QB for his last 3 college seasons.  Not just 4 games.  He was ahead of Rosen for 3 years, not 4 games.  He was ahead of Baker, 3 years, not 4 games.  All were ahead of Allen, the scatter arm QB who makes way too many mistakes.  3 years, not 4 games.

And yeah, when Allen comes back, has a 4 game stretch where he leads the NFL in just about every QB analytic, you can come back and compare, not by telling everyone those 4 games are 4 games.  It was one third of their season.  Best part of this is the first of those four games came against the BILLs.  He totally outplayed Allen.  Reminded everyone why Darnold was rated 4 player spots ahead of Allen.

Come back when Josh has a season where he throws more TDs than INTs then talk about how he never threw 4 in a game.  Means he sucked more on average given he never had that one bad game.  A game where Darnold was running for his life chasing snaps over his head, to one side, to the other or skipping to him when his C couldnt snap the ball.

Don't wish injury on anyone (not in a cheats jersey), but it looks like one of Buffalo's perceived advantages might miss the game:

Andre Roberts out of practice ahead of Week One

After returner Andre Roberts signed with the Bills as a free agent in March, he said the chance to play the Jets twice this season was “the biggest thing” driving his desire to go to Buffalo.

Roberts played for the Jets last season and was voted a first team All-Pro after leading the league in average yards per punt return and returning a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns over the course of the year. Roberts said the Jets were “a little shady” when it came to trying to re-sign him for the 2019 season, which was the impetus for his desire to face them this year.

Roberts’s plans for two matchups with his former team may have hit a snag, however. The Jets host the Bills this Sunday, but Roberts is out of practice on Wednesday with a quad injury. Head coach Sean McDermott said that Roberts is day-to-day when it comes to his availability for the weekend.

Tight end Tyler Kroft is also out of practice as he continues to deal with a foot injury, but left guard Quinton Spain is practicing after missing time with an ankle injury.

Andre Roberts is battling a leg injury and did not practice today.  Sounds like he might not be returning kicks for buffalo sunday.

Who we got starting Cannon? Hopefully he has no muffs. Goodluck to Berrios on punt returns also.

Quinnen Williams is not starting. He's listed behind McClendon on the depth chart. It's a surprise because the thought was this guy is going to be an impact player from day 1. This isn't to say he won't play a lot or be a key part of the defense. But you'd think he'd beat out McClendon. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/09/04/quinnen-williams-a-backup-on-jets-depth-chart/
