The Jets will be holding a kicking tryout tomorrow with the intent of finding a new guy. Another rough outing for Vedvik who end up looking for his fourth team since last month

First question I ask him is if he was Crazy, or legit. He's legit, and crazy.

Dude took the red eye from Salt Lake. Love it!  Chasing a dream.

It's not like he's just some dude who has never kicked in a game..Says he kicked in College (Vermont) and has been kicking in semi-pro...He's legit

from 2008:

"Vermont's lone points came on a 22-yard chip shot field goal by Josh Henshaw"

2010

Notables: Last game was a victory over NCFA affiliate, the University of Maine in the NCFA’s inaugural game in Orono, Maine. UVM’s captain and club football founder Doug Deluca scored with seconds remaining, and kicker Josh Henshaw nailed the extra point for the Catamounts to go ahead 21-20.

They make him stand  mile from the facility out in traffic. I talked to security, he said the order came down. He told me to call upstairs, he said he was doing his job. I respect that. The Jets should let him in to freshen up, screw let him take a kick, no skin off their back.I could see if there was a line a mile long, he is 30 though. No gear too.

From the Jets standpoint. Think about this. You let this guy in and then every semi-pro, al bundy type will be showing up at Florham park wanting a tryout. They’ll call boomers show asking for some help getting in.

Its a great story. But I understand the Jets and Boomers initial apprehension.
