Well with our schedule being:

Browns, Pats, Eagles, Cowboys,Pats for the next 5 games, it looks like people will be calling for Gase’s Head. ?

Yup. I will say at the very least...if we are to lose most of these, the offense better start to look “electric” or he might not survive for 2020. Seriously, looking down the barrel at 0-6/0-7, after the hype of the offseason + Darnold’s rookie deal...Joe D might cut bait.

If we're being honest with ourselves - the only reason any of us like the Gase hire is because he got Macc fired and got us Douglas.

Please, people were attributing greatness to him long before Mac got fired. There's just some people who want to believe in anyone the Jets hire. Reality be damned.

Saw just the melt down in the 4th quarter initially, then went back and watched the game. Very surprised at the offensive scheme that Gase dialed up even after he’s seen this team and played against them numerous times. No screens, long developing plays, not many slants, not many roll outs by Sam, not many flare outs to Bell. No real adjustments. Bizarre . Sam looked unsettled, not comfortable or confident, a bit rattled. no tempo, no real sustained drives. Looked like a very struggling offense. More like a pickup game with guys they never played with.

Better step it up or we’re in for another long season.

When a coach is in over his head that's what you get.  He talks huge about those practice battles against "a Gregg Wms defense" but those are scripted.  When the lights are on and he's the head man...he's a losing HC.  Period.

We as fans should expect better.  We hired a re tread with a losing record who just lost his team.  But at least we got rid of Macc.

One F*cking game and the HC sucks.  Fans are idiots sometimes.  Maybe I'm old fashioned but the players need to take responsibility.  Don't hit the QB when the play is dead and the drive is over.  Catch an interception that is in your hands. Hit a wide open receiver to win the game.

Lol he sucks as a head coach-period.

It's' not one game.

He's  not a premier coach. Just a doofuss extra in the big nfl production
