Call out the Jets you want to see step up and improve in Week 2!

I think the fans weren’t loud enough and too many bills fans. We need to be better this week.

The whole team except Bell, Crowder, Mosley, and Adams needs to be better next week.  Mosley might not even play anyway so we only got 3 guys who played up to their potential on Sunday.

I'm especially calling out 3 parties:

1) The entire o-line, they sucked

2) Gase, had no adjustments to make despite all this talk we heard about how smart he is

3) The cornerbacks.  Not that I expect much out of them.  There's just not much talent there.

He's had the off-season and pre-season to prepare for week 1 and he and his hand-picked 'yes man' offensive coordinator come out and lay an egg against a good but not great defence. I mean, it's fantastic for me that I selected Jamison Crowder in a PPR fantasy league (and then left him on the bench) when he gets 14 targets and under 100 yards.

We all saw how good Darnold was when he was allowed to improvise last year. Gase needs to loosen up the play calling to enable Darnold to roll out of the pocket and create space to throw deep with his legs.

It just seems crazy to me that all the plays the off has been running and practicing all off season all week, then come game time call none of it. Made no sense.

He’s probably not going to play, but I’m starting to get very concerned about Quinnen Williams. It’s crazy to think about, but at this point he’s probably the only guy from this years draft class that has a chance to stick, and right now it’s not looking good.

In addition to all of the low hanging fruit, Darnold has to be more precise with his downfield passing and stop getting happy feet in the pocket, even if he's under pressure.  He needs to stand tall and deliver, even if he takes a few shots in the process.
