rangerous
demario is a good player but like most of those guys thought he was grossly underpaid (and he was during his last jet year). can't say i fault mac too much for letting him walk. the sad thing is he's probably going to play at a high level for another 3 or 4 seasons. More Cowbell
I always liked Davis, especially when he came back from playing in Cleveland. He was a solid, not spectacular player for the Jets.

Maybe its because we are perpetually drafting players who do not fit the system we run and are ineffective at teaching players the system or not adapting the system to fit the talent of our players. Great examples brought up above - James Farrior - why the hell did Parcells draft him and then not use him properly. Hugh Douglas - Parcells wanted to play a 3/4 and didnt think Douglas fit that system so rather than adapt - he throws away a generational pass rusher. varjet
How many posts per day will we see that basically say the same thing? Mac was a terrible GM. They have the same style of play and mentality as a LBer; stop the run. But DD clearly is better at both coverage and run stuffing.
