https://www.tmz.com/2019/09/10/antonio-brown-accused-of-raping-former-trainer-lawsuit-filed/

Antonio Brown is being sued by a woman who claims the New England Patriots star WR sexually assaulted and raped her during 3 separate encounters ... this according to a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports.

The woman behind the lawsuit, who identifies herself as Britney Taylor, says she was hired by Brown as a personal trainer. Taylor claims the first incident happened in June 2017 during a training session when "Brown exposed himself and kissed [her] without her consent."

Taylor then describes a second alleged incident ... "Later that month, Brown, while positioned behind her, began masturbating near her without her knowledge and ejaculated on her back."

According to the lawsuit, filed in federal court in Florida, Taylor claims Brown bragged about the incident to her in "profane and angry text messages."

Several months later, the accuser claims Brown reached out to her to express contrition and "begged forgiveness."

Taylor claims Brown begged her to continue training him -- and after initial hesitation, she ultimately agreed.

However, the woman claims nearly a year later -- on May 20, 2018 "Brown cornered [her] forced her down onto a bed, pushed her face into the mattress, and forcibly raped her."

The woman claims she tried to fight back but Brown was "too strong and physically overpowered her."

In the suit, the woman claims she screamed and cried throughout the entire incident -- repeatedly shouting "no" and "stop."

Brown refused to stop, according to the suit, and penetrated her, the woman claims.

In her suit, Taylor describes herself as a "28-year-old world class gymnast" who competed at "elite levels of international competition."

In her suit, Taylor claims she met Antonio Brown while they were both student athletes at Central Michigan University where they participated in a Fellowship of Christian Athletes group.

In her suit, Taylor says she wants compensation for "physical injuries, pain and suffering, humiliation, embarrassment, stress and anxiety, loss of self-esteem and self-confidence, and emotional pain and suffering."

She also wants punitive damages -- though she does not specify an amount.

We've reached out to Brown's camp for comment -- so far, no word back.

This guy is a disaster

New England Patriots receiver Antonio Brown has been accused of raping his former trainer, according to a federal lawsuit filed Tuesday in the Southern District of Florida.

The lawsuit says that Brown — in three separate incidents, two in June 2017 and another in May 2018 — sexually assaulted a woman named Britney Taylor, a gymnast whom he met while they were attending Central Michigan together and whom he later hired as a trainer.

According to the lawsuit, Brown sexually assaulted Taylor twice during training sessions in June 2017. First, he exposed himself and kissed her without her permission, the lawsuit says. Later that month, the lawsuit says, while she was watching a television program at his home, Brown started masturbating behind her and ejaculated on her back. Brown bragged about the incident in profane text messages that are copied in the lawsuit.

Taylor ended her working relationship with Brown, the lawsuit says, but several months later, when he contacted her to apologize, she relented. She was, according to the lawsuit, “swayed by his assurance that he would cease any sexual advances.”

Then, the lawsuit says, on May 20, 2018, Brown forced her onto a bed, pushed her face into the mattress and “forcibly” raped her. She tried to resist him, screaming and repeatedly shouting “no” and “stop,” the lawsuit says, but Brown refused and penetrated her.

“As a rape victim of Antonio Brown, deciding to speak out has been an incredibly difficult decision,” Taylor said in a statement released by her lawyer. “I have found strength in my faith, my family, and from the accounts of other survivors of sexual assault.”

In the statement, Taylor said she would cooperate with the N.F.L. in an investigation.

It was not clear whether Taylor reported her accusations to the police.

Brown, 31, one of the most productive wide receivers in the N.F.L., became a Patriot on Monday after a series of conflicts prompted the Oakland Raiders to release him last week. The teams could not immediately be reached for comment.

Brown is a resident of South Florida, where the lawsuit was filed.

Why the Pats wanted to deal with this still doesn’t make much sense. It’s not like they needed him.

Civil Lawsuit for a rape in 2018? Umm that would be criminal charges no?

I’m not sure how that works. One of the posters here is a lawyer or something but I forget who. I think she’d have to press charges but not sure.

He should consult Peyton Manning on how you make this go away

Start by throwing her a few crumbs, then ruin her career. Because just assaulting the woman isn’t enough

Tend to agree.  If there was any proof whatsoever, I imagine even if she had a plausible case - he would have been arrested or at least questioned.  That doesn't seem to be the case.

I'm not saying anything bad about this woman or that she's lying but I would think the police would be involved at this point.

There are emails posted on twitter from him to her but it’s impossible to understand and loaded with profanity so I won’t post here. I honestly can’t understand what it means.

And since I posted the statement from his attorney, here is the accuser's version from the complaint:

https://haaslawpllc.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/1_Complaint.pdf

Quote

INTRODUCTION 1. This case is about how Antonio Brown – a highly successful wide receiver in the National Football League (“NFL”) – exploited, sexually assaulted, and raped his former trainer Britney Taylor. Brown preyed on Ms. Taylor’s kindness and her religious devotion, casting himself as a person equally dedicated to his religious faith and someone she could trust. In reality, he used manipulation and false promises to lure her into his world, and once there, he sexually assaulted and raped her. These heinous acts have inflicted severe and dramatic damage on Ms. Taylor, irreparably harming her. 2. In June 2017, Brown sexually assaulted Ms. Taylor twice while they were together for training sessions. First, Brown exposed himself and kissed Ms. Taylor without her consent. Later that month, Brown, while positioned behind Ms. Taylor, began masturbating near her without her knowledge and ejaculated on her back. Ms. Taylor realized what occurred when she Case 0:19-cv-62258-XXXX Document 1 Entered on FLSD Docket 09/10/2019 Page 1 of 15 2 felt a wet spot soak through her clothing. Later, in astonishingly profane and angry text messages, Brown bragged about the incident to her. 3. Shocked and deeply embarrassed by this assault and his degrading messages, Ms. Taylor cut off her working relationship with Brown. 4. However, several months later, Brown reached out to Ms. Taylor, expressing contrition, begging forgiveness and pleading with her to train him again. Ms. Taylor was hesitant but eventually agreed, swayed by his assurance that he would cease any sexual advances. 5. Brown’s assurances proved false. 6. On May 20, 2018, Brown cornered Ms. Taylor, forced her down onto a bed, pushed her face into the mattress, and forcibly raped her. Ms. Taylor tried to resist him, but Brown was too strong and physically overpowered her. She screamed and cried throughout the entire rape, repeatedly shouting “no” and “stop.” Brown refused and penetrated her. 7. Brown’s assaults and rape have severely traumatized Ms. Taylor. Ms. Taylor has suffered near-daily panic attacks and suicidal ideations. 8. Ms. Taylor brings this action to recover compensatory and punitive damages for the significant harm Brown caused by this brutal and sadistic misconduct.

Article I read said there's text of him joking about how he masturbated behind her and finished on her back while she was watching TV.

This keeps getting weirder and weirder. I don’t know what’s going on anymore.....

If this kind of thing doesn't put a damper on things nothing will.

I used to watch the NFL to get away from this kind of "real world" nonsense, alas those days are long gone :(

There’s more drama surrounding Antonio Brown and this one could have very serious ramifications on the controversial receiver.

Brown has been accused of raping his former trainer, according to a federal lawsuit that was filed on Tuesday in the Southern District of Florida.

According to the New York Times:

THE LAWSUIT SAYS THAT BROWN, IN THREE SEPARATE INCIDENTS — TWO IN JUNE 2017 AND ANOTHER IN MAY 2018 — SEXUALLY ASSAULTED AND FORCED HIMSELF ON A WOMAN NAMED BRITNEY TAYLOR, A GYMNAST WHOM HE MET WHILE THEY WERE ATTENDING CENTRAL MICHIGAN TOGETHER AND WHOM HE LATER HIRED AS A TRAINER.

Per the report, the second incident occurred in 2018:

BROWN FORCED HER ONTO A BED, PUSHED HER FACE INTO THE MATTRESS AND “FORCIBLY” RAPED HER. SHE TRIED TO RESIST HIM, SCREAMING AND REPEATEDLY SHOUTING “NO” AND “STOP,” THE LAWSUIT SAYS, BUT BROWN REFUSED AND PENETRATED HER.

IN THE STATEMENT, TAYLOR SAID SHE WOULD COOPERATE WITH THE N.F.L. IN AN INVESTIGATION.
IT WAS NOT CLEAR WHETHER TAYLOR REPORTED HER ACCUSATIONS TO THE POLICE.

The 31-year old Brown was released by the Oakland Raiders after a series of controversial moves. He signed with the Patriots hours.

Brown is a resident of South Florida, where the lawsuit was filed.

Are we still always believing the victim?

Depends on the evidence. That fact he’s a douche bag and a Patriot means I’m believing the victim till he’s proven innocent.

Hell no

It’s incredibly fishy but it never seems to end with this guy.

The Pats are loaded at WR without him. Seems dumb that they even bothered.

They got one of the best WRs ever for cheap to add to a stacked team. It was a no brainer.

I hate Antonio Brown but I cant take this serious.  You want to file a lawsuit for money but wont try to press charges for a rape?
